A Death and A Wedding

A Death and A Wedding

… One day, I suddenly saw the news on the television. "The Jones family was murdered. None of the family members lived." My heart skipped a beat. I then saw a photo of my family on the screen. "It is reported that the murder was committed by Susan Jones, the wife of the old director of Jones Group..." None of them survived. Charles, Derek, Samantha, Jenson, and Susan—all of them died. "Mrs. Jones left a suicide note, claiming that this was done for her daughter Celine..." I could no longer process the words I heard after that.

Death To The Alpha

Death To The Alpha

One of a young man dying, and the other of a girl being saved. A crinkle under my pillow draws my attention, and I groan, annoyed. This is the second one and I am getting sick of it. I wonder if Haley is also getting them or if they are after me. I pull out the familiar light brown paper and unfold it. My body goes rigid as I read and reread the words written in black ink. HARD TO PROTECT HER WHEN SHE ISN’T ON PACK LANDS. IF SHE DIES HER BLOOD IS ON YOUR HANDS JUST LIKE CALEB’S.

Holy crap.. this was absolutely amazing!!Definitely some tough parts throughout to read, but man was it well written, flowed well, and had amazing character progression. It’s a slow burn, but it’s so worth it! This author is becoming one of my favorites! Author - absolutely amazing job!! :)

Wow, I couldn't put this book down. The story is about revenge, learning to trust, finding family, and healing through trauma. The fight scenes can be graphic, but they are balanced by steamy make-out sessions. The second love interest is not abusive, but he has a secret. Great job.

The Honeymoon of Death

The Honeymoon of Death

Eventually, I moved on to a new home, a new job, and a new life. One day, I received a call from the police. The officer said, "Ms. Sawyer, good evening. We found a man who froze to death overnight at a cemetery. "He was heavily intoxicated. We traced his records and found that you were listed as his emergency contact." I exhaled slowly. "I used to be, but not anymore. Please proceed with your standard protocols." "Understood. Sorry to disturb you." After hanging up, I looked toward the sky and whispered a quiet prayer. I asked the universe to send kindness to those who truly needed it.

Death's Favorite

Death's Favorite

"This isn't some video game, it's real, real life. ‎ ‎ I nodded slowly. I knew that, what more could convince me otherwise? ‎ ‎ "If we want to survive, we have to do everything we can, otherwise we're better off dead. ‎ ‎ "But if you don't get out of here, you will truly be dead, can't you see that? Chry, let's find another hiding spot." I stretched my hands a little and slowly pulled away the plank, then I poked my head out and scoured the environment.

My Death Left My Alpha Drowning in Regret

My Death Left My Alpha Drowning in Regret

"What the hell are you talking about? Do you have any idea what the hell you are saying, Beta Julian?" There was silence at the other end of the call. Julian's voice was heard once more. "I know what I just said, Alpha. We found Selene's corpse deep inside the Dark Forest." Fenris felt his world fall apart. A deep growl exploded from deep inside his throat. His eyes turned red as he punched violently at the wall next to him. "No! This isn't possible! How could she be dead?! How can she be dead?!" My brother, Damian, jumped with shock from Fenris' action. He felt a tightness in his throat. "Fenris, who died?"

Her Last Death

Her Last Death

A smear of crimson is on her lips, the drops I forced there with hands that were steadier than my conscience. There's no pulse. No breath. Her eyelashes rest against skin thats already turning pale. She's too still. It's not sleep. It's not unconsciousness. She's gone. I've seen thousands of people dead. Men killed on battlefields. Women burned in sanctuaries. Children thrown into plague pits like discarded clothes. Death doesn't interest me much anymore. This one does. I told myself to walk It's a practical.thought. If the blood doesn't work, the problem solves itself. If it takes hold, distance will keep judgment from clouding what needs to be done.

The Perfect Death

The Perfect Death

After catching my supposedly frigid wife, Emmy Winslow, aroused by our household robot butler, I swallowed my disgust and sent the machine to a destruction facility. I never expected that decision to cost her life. On the way to chase after the robot, Emmy was involved in a horrific car accident and died at the scene. From that day on, I became notorious in our social circle as the jealous husband who drove his wife to her death. Five years passed. Night after night, I tortured myself by wondering if she would still be alive had I not been so petty over a machine. Until today, while discussing business at a private club, I passed a half-open VIP suite and heard one of Emmy's closest frie

Death's Day

Death's Day

If it ever did, he would dismiss it as a mere gossip. Marcus continued staring through the windows as the greenery rushed past them, while he turned back inwardly to something that was troubling his soul. His mind told him he had made a mistake. His ego told him that what he did was right. It was not every day that one got to deal with a witch, even if it was a little boy. That wouldn’t have been a problem if he had not nearly choked because the boy, Jason was looking at him. Dean had died soon after. Problem was he didn’t know how powerful the boy was.

Flying Death

Flying Death

I nod approvingly. I mostly do want to get the fuck out of here, but my heart can’t leave until I know he’s dead. I sigh and strike a match, lighting the whole pack on fire and dropping it inside. His eyes go wide with the realization he’s about to really and truly die. That fear on his face is priceless to me. I never dreamed I’d get this chance. I’ve always assumed I’d be stuck with the memory of him attacking me and never have closure. The fear would plague me for the rest of my life, even now that I have a mate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Death In Paradise is this delightful mix of murder mystery and tropical vibes that keeps me coming back every season. The show follows a British detective who gets assigned to the fictional Caribbean island of Saint Marie, where they’re suddenly thrust into solving bizarre murders under the blazing sun. The twist? Each detective brings their own quirks—like Humphrey’s awkward charm or Neville’s allergy to everything—while the local team, including the no-nonsense Catherine and earnest Dwayne, adds so much heart. The murders are cleverly plotted, often with locked-room puzzles or alibis that seem airtight until the final 'aha!' moment. It’s like 'Agatha Christie meets a postcard,' with palm trees and rum cocktails as the backdrop.

What I love is how the show balances humor and drama. The detectives’ fish-out-of-water struggles—whether it’s sweating through suits or decoding island slang—are hilarious, but the crimes never feel trivial. The recent seasons even dive deeper into the team’s personal lives, like Marlon’s redemption arc or Florence’s resilience. Plus, the scenery is pure escapism; I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve paused to screenshot the turquoise ocean. It’s comfort TV with enough twists to keep you guessing.
