The wolves surrounded him, ready to take his life as they were commanded not to leave any survivors except the Alpha's daughter. Then, two wolves burst from the shadows and suddenly started attacking the rogues. One was a huge black wolf, twice the size of all the other wolves, and the other was a brown wolf. The huge black wolf’s eyes gleamed red, symbolizing that he was an Alpha, but that wasn't what made the rogues fear him—the mark on the wolf's face made them recognize him as Alpha Kayden and without waiting, they all took to their heels.

A magnificent silver wolf, its fur glistening in the morning sunlight, stood tall and proud, its presence radiating power and controlled fury. For a fleeting moment, I thought it might be Nate, a beacon of salvation in our darkest hour. But as the wolf stalked towards the approaching rogues, a strange sense of unease settled in my stomach. I lashed out, scratching down the face of one of the wolves as they tried to move in for my throat, sending them sprawling back into the dirt with a yowl of pain. I ducked to the side of the darkest wolf, narrowly missing their teeth and slashing my nails along their side, ripping the skin open. The scent of blood permeated the air, thickening it and encouraging my wolf further. Adrenaline rushed through my body, and my vision seemed to clear and slow, zooming in as the smallest wolf slipped from the group. A deep growl ripped from my throat as the female rogue made their way for the house quickly, limping from a bite I had managed to land on their front leg.

I was still contemplating if I should ignore the man and just walk in when they picked up their conversation. "How is it that we can not find these wolves that came to rescue that man all these months that we have been trying? Did they vanish into thin air or what?" That was my father asking Malkholm the question. I didn't need a soothsayer to tell me that the wolves and the man they were talking about were Alex and the Morning Dew Pack members who had come to save the man many months ago when they were hellbent on killing him. Before he could utter a word, his door burst open, revealing the formidable black wolf. Recognition dawned on Drax's face, morphing into panic as the women screamed, seeking refuge in the bedsheets. In a desperate bid for escape, Drax made for the window, but the wolf, Blaise in his primal form, was in relentless pursuit. Both plummeted out the window, transforming mid-air. Drax, now a wolf, landed awkwardly, receiving a deep gash from Blaise's vicious attack. A guttural growl escaped him as he fought off his assailant and fled into the underbrush.

Memories of her past pain resurfaced, fueling her determination to protect her newfound pack at all costs. Suddenly, the trees rustled, and the figure of a massive wolf emerged from the shadows. Its fur was matted, and scars marred its snarling face, testaments to its ruthless existence. The rogue's eyes blazed with a feral intensity as it locked its gaze onto Rey. With a guttural roar, the rogue lunged forward, charging straight at Rey. The members of the Crimson Pack sprang into action, surrounding the rogue and engaging in a fierce battle. Claws clashed, teeth gnashed, and primal growls filled the night as the pack fought to defend their newest member.

Without hesitation, Blaze leaps into the fray, his fur bristling with fury as he launches himself at the nearest rogue, teeth flashing in a display of primal dominance. Alexa and Dexter, their own wolf form a blur of motion and grace, and join Blaze in the fight, their movements fluid and coordinating as they engage the rogues with a fierce determination. Alexa's sleek black fur glistens in the moonlight as she dances around her opponents, her agility a testament to her skill in combat. Dexter, a massive gray wolf with eyes as sharp as flint, moved with calculated precision, his strength a formidable force to be reckoned with.

Hector and Kaia shift at exactly the same time, neither of them holding a more supreme title as the other, they were both in fact the alphas of this pack. The air shimmers around them as their clothes shred to pieces, my eyes widening as a large black wolf stands in the epicentre of the gathering. He was a beast just like Jaxon’s, my mind flashing back to the attack he led on the rogues, where his wolf saved me from being attacked. My attention snaps to the movement beside Hector’s wolf.
