“It is the same battle that has raged since time begun. Since Eve ate the forbidden fruit. Who will conquer all? Good or Evil? “The Devil sent a group of upper-level demons to scout the seven spiritual realms and harvest souls to use in his army. Souls that were innocent. Tenebris was sent to earth. A plague to the world as it were.” “So why would Tenebris pose such a risk to myself, or the werewolves?” I ask in confusion. “To understand that you must first understand his history…”

Nelanian could hear the clicking sound his knees made when they almost buckled. “ The necessary evil serves as a counterbalance. There is Good and Evil, just as there is black and white, light and darkness. We don't do what you do for the sake of self-preservation; we do it to keep the balance. Most people utilise the Manna Fields to create positive energy, while others use it to create negative energy. There are abnormalities within those two groupings. It is our responsibility to correct any inconsistencies and maintain the balance between the two sides. The nature of the anomalies is something we can't predict. One could be a vicious tyrant who murders his subjects and violates their huma

My heart began pounding. “What do you know about me?” The voice laughed again. “Everything.” A figure slowly emerged from the darkness. A tall man dressed in black robes. His face remained hidden. But something about his aura felt strangely familiar. “You’re one of them.” “The Evil God Organization?” He chuckled. “No.” I froze at his response. “No?” He lifted his head slightly. “We existed before Baalzelbul.” My eyes widened. “What?” “The Evil God merely inherited what your ancestors failed to destroy.”

He may have to bow out of the bet to get a proper feed. “Of course, sorry. I thought you’d like to know Hana Yashida here. She is at DKE for the party with her roommate. They are with Vice President Malcolm.” Harris explained. I sat up straight. Harris had my full attention. Hana was at DKE. That alone would be worrying. Her at any drunken party would concern me. But we helped found DKE as a place specifically for the hybrids of the supernatural world. It’s the same at every university where DKE is present. And I know Malcolm is a cambion, a hybrid demon, and idolizes Aidan. If Malcolm isn’t planning to make a move for himself, I would put money on him by calling Aidan, as Harris called me.

Maxwell stood up, glaring at Darko. "You fool, Old Fourth!" "Crimson Wyrm Master is our mortal enemy! How could you side with him?" In a battle years ago, many of their loved ones and dear friends fell at the hands of Crimson Wyrm Master. The two sides were like water and fire, yet Darko spinelessly defected. The other three branches of the family were filled with rage. "Bah! To think I once admired you. I must’ve been blind back then." "A treacherous dog like you deserves to be sliced into pieces."

I ask urgently. “When the day comes that you yield to the woman with hair as dark as night, lips the shade of cherry and skin like milk; when you allow her evil to bleed within you… pay heed, for then, shall you bring doom to the world.” He says, I can see the layer of sweat on his forehead as he struggles, his eyes flickering from green-gold to red. My heart clenches at his words. Evil. Am I evil? I don’t know what to make of that. I refuse to believe that I am… what have I done that is so wrong - that makes me evil?

When it was done, Deacon lay Lucas gently on the ground using a soft rope made from the Unugoau tree, common in the area, and then the real work began. Lucas couldn't see what his men were doing. His eyes were swollen shut, and even breathing was difficult. But he was lucky. Before choosing exile, Deacon came from a spiritual pack and learned antidotes for all the nasty creatures in folklore and reality. If anyone knew what to do to save Lucas's life, it would be his Beta.

“Well, you’re the reason it’s dying out, forcing your magic and everything. If you would have let this, come, I might have been more open to things, but since you forced this, I am scared.” “I was afraid to Ivy that is why I did what I had to do.” He said getting up. “I didn’t want Nick getting to you and me losing another Dweller to that bastard. He has stolen a lot of good Dwellers and it’s taking a toll on our side.” “Well maybe you should become a good Dweller and then the world would be better off?” “It doesn’t work that way,” Drake said pulling her closer to him. “Good and Evil have to be equal, if we tip it too much, then the world spins out of control, and everything goes crazy.” He

Oh please, I wish I could survive. Darkesta was indeed a devil. We heard he could kill anyone who would turn their backs on him. Even his best friend died because of him. He wants to rule the world and he's starting to spread his evilness now like a virus, slowly killing the people without them knowing it. His evil guardians, the Dark Summoner were everywhere, slowly summoning even the humankind, I heard.

Short-lived but it was there. And now I’m beginning to think back on the cracks. All the cracks I saw. Almost invisible but they were real. I let out a sigh, plumping myself into the chair behind me. Don’t be silly, Elena. A one time kindness doesn’t erase a lifetime of evil. Lukas is an evil man and he has proven it over and over again. I remind myself because I’ve seen what his power can do. I know what he allows to happen under his name. And I won’t even be surprised if the rogue mission was a small fraction of it. He had that aura about him. Evil.
