A rotten smell flowed along the broken door which woke the crowd from their stunned states. “I think we came to the right place. This looks like the dungeon no matter how I look at it.” Lyor muttered with a frown while pinching his nose due to the awful and rotten smell. The dungeon in the city lord manor looks cleaner than this, and there would only be some moldy smell from time to time. Who would have thought that the glorious royal palace of the Artemia Kingdom would have such a filthy and rotten place inside it?

I woke up feeling so uncomfortable and it took me a few moments to realise that I was locked up in the lowest dungeon. There was no window and no light. It reeked of mould and other unsightly things. I felt sick and wished that I had never left the packhouse that night. I tried to stand up from the floor but was pulled back by something which made me scream because I realised I was chained to the wall like an animal. The door clicked open and I blinked as light flooded the tiny dungeon.

Shadow replied. "Where is he now?" I asked. "In the dungeon." he replied. "Lead the way." I instructed, and Shadow led the way to my deadly dungeon;The dungeon where you go in alive but never come out alive. We got to the elevator, and instead of entering the elevator, we went a little away from the elevator, and Shadow pressed the switch by the wall, and the wall opened, revealing a stairs. Yeah, that's where my dungeon is. It's in a place you can never believe it is, behind a wall; a place no one could ever thought could exist here.

Elaina mentally sighed in relief and immediately grew a thick skin to reply to them, “Well of course, when I heard the king praising the group heads, I knew that the ones who truly did the work were the workers. You fellows are the ones who deserve the King's praise” “Yes, you are right but oh well, there's nothing we can do. Do you know that the dungeon has underground tunnels that connect to everywhere in the castle? I was among the group who dug the path” Dale boasted with a smug look on his face. “Underground tunnels are nothing much, what about secret doors? I designed some myself” another knight chipped in.

Finn's POV The dungeon stank of piss and rot, the air so thick I could taste it - bitter, sour, like the inside of a grave. A slash of crimson moonlight cut through the wall, spilling over the stone like blood from a fresh wound. My scars itched, a map of every bastard who'd torn me open and left me hollow. I needed it tonight, that sharp, searing proof I wasn't just a ghost rattling in this fucked-up shell.

Aeris eyes were big. "Is there no castle with a dungeon silly" Davis scoffed now walking through a very dark hallway. "Hey am Tharros sacrifice, don't call me silly" Aeris squinted, warning. "It's that even a thing to be proud about" Davis rolled his eyes. "it's something that makes me special here and treated nicely so, yes it is" Aeris said as they finally got to the dungeon. Davis opened the big dungeon door and the stench that came out didn't waste time in making Aeris puke.

That was all it took to have me bolting for the doors and racing to the dungeons as fast as I could. The moment I stepped foot into the dungeon, I was overcome with the scent of urine and feces. The most prominent smell was that of fear and desperation. I have come to love those two scents, other than Kenz’s intoxicating honeysuckle scent. Nothing got me harder than those two scents. I loved it when the prey was fearful, as that made them make mistakes easier. “End of the hall on the left, Alpha.” One of the dungeon guards said without being asked. I nodded my head, then continued my way to the end of the hall.

Chapter 8 When we reached the bottom floor, this dungeon didn’t smell like most. There was always the smell of blood, vomit and emptied bowels where the prisoners were tortured for information; but this dungeon was like club freaking Med. I looked at Tina and Ron and we just shook our heads, it actually smelled like air fresheners and cleaning products. I rubbed my temples and mindlinked the team, “This is some bullshit. I could vacation here.” I said shaking my head.

It was just earlier today that I had to quell a prison break–maybe it was foolish of me to think that we could have everything resolved so shortly, but what other option did I have?
