She gave Sabrina a smile and then out of thin air a thick, crumbling old book appeared in her hand. “Thank you priestess,” Sabrina muttered, and the young woman gave a nod and disappeared among the shelves again. “I asked the priestesses if they could find something about the blood bond a long time ago,” she continued. “And priestess Saskia finally found something in this book,” Asher and I glanced at the big old book and the bold golden letters printed on it. It was in Latin, so of course, we couldn’t read it. Sabrina flipped the pages and then halted at a bookmarked one, pointing to the tiny words.

Alaric pointed to an altar far off where an open book glowed a brilliant turquoise blue. It was situated right in the middle of a field of green grass. The field had vibrant colors of different flowers, ranging from Indian paintbrushes, wild irises, and carnations. Alaric and Odessa headed towards the book and stopped at the foot of the altar. Odessa stretched a hand on top of the book. "Here goes nothing." There was a burst of light, and Odessa's head reared back to the sky with so much force that Alaric feared she would break her neck. Her eyes were a radiant blue color, connecting her to the book and its contents.

Placing the stone down on the table for the other mages to marvel at, Seraphina took to looking around the room to find what else had been revealed by the syphoning spell. A large blue and gold leather-bound book caught her attention on one of the shelves. An unexplainable, almost magnetic pull drew her to it. Fingers slightly trembling, she pulled the book out and turned it over to read the cover. ‘Le haghaidh mo iníon’ She ran her fingers over the gold imprinted font, her breath hitched in her throat.

I glanced at him; he was running his hands through his hair, shifting from one foot to another, like a crazed man. “No shit brother, how can all three of us be mated to one little she-wolf?” Xander stood with his hands on his hips looking just as perplexed as I felt. “You dumb shit!
