So now I stood before the audience with purple flames around my ankles and wrists, with more swallowing the small earrings and thin silver threads that were hanging in my hair. The beat then started to pick up and I began to dance, closing my eyes and going off of instinct as I spun and swayed around the sword. “One more drink and then we dance!” Another hour and a few drinks later, and I’m shaking my groove thang on the dance floor. Daphne and Viviana are giggling with me. Even Rina seems like a nicer person now. Daphne skips- the girl is literally skipping in high heels- over to Renz. He and Lucas are sitting at a table next to the dance floor, sulking like two kids in the timeout corner. “Renz! Dance with me!” Daphne doesn’t even give him a chance to answer. She drags his giant body onto the dance floor.
