Alpha Derek's POV I didn't know how but I was able to control the demon inside me. I had only sunk my claws into her neck, and at the sight of her blood, the demon inside of me suppresses. The side on which I had cut immediately healed up but has a scar. She must've been a local for her to heal up instantly. Since I was from the demon clan, no matter how fast and strong the werewolf's inner power might be, he or she can never heal from my slash.

Not that this is my first time but this people are different. It's the pack of the demon alpha. I wouldn't believe I would be here even in an hundred years to come. Some nice looking maids came to put the serving dishes on the table. Those dishes are quite expensive. Looking at the one they placed on the demon alpha's path, I'm so sure it's not steel but his dishware and goblet were shimmering like diamond. I wondered what they are made of.

The Demon King was huge and sat upon an impressively massive throne that covered the entire back wall from floor to ceiling like organ pipes in a cathedral. Ruben’s eyes narrowed as he took in the mighty beast languishing on his throne. He was clearly about twelve feet tall, long black hair fell down to his shoulders as two foot long curled black horns stuck through it on either side of his forehead. He was chiselled and cruel looking, his eyes were literally flaming, swirling with red, orange and yellow, the pupils slits, where the sclera were usually white his were black and bottomless.

He looked at me in shock and I could see the fear in his eyes when he looked at my arm. "Demon." I heard him say before running away from my room. I just asked why he seems to be scared. Who is the demon? Me? What is a demon by the way? Then when I got dressed I went out of the room and went to the kitchen, I saw a knife fall to the floor so I took it but I immediately let it go and closed my eyes because I saw something in my mind again. I saw the face of my mom and the girl with the horns again, mom was holding a knife and stabbed that girl with the horns, the girl did not know because she was sleeping.

As it rose, the shadows seemed to peel back from its form, revealing details that made my stomach tighten. Seven feet tall—maybe more. Shoulders broad enough to block out what little light existed. Its eyes burned like twin embers, yellow and alive, flickering in the dark as if feeding on it. The skin had a strange metallic sheen, copper threaded with red, as though blood and fire had fused beneath the surface. Two horns curved from its head, polished and sharp, catching the faint glimmer of the void around us. They framed the creature like a crown. A demon.

” He added. “Oh, Really? How touching.” Suddenly a weretiger walks approaching them. He wears a Byzantium thin mantle and cobalt blue shorts. He looks like a standing giant Sumatran Tiger. Jeje, Cocong, and ßenlong are vigilant. They are ready to attack it. “Cindaku, A demon half human and half tiger of Kerinci. Be careful. His strength isn’t a mere joke!” Jeje exclaimed. “Guys, let m-”

H drawled, whipping his fingers in liquid motions. “Of—of course, Prince Haien, ” the demon gulped hard before falling cleanly on the floor with its mutated scaly feet. Damn, no wonder the room smelled of ammonia. The low-class demon actually resides in a sewer-like river of Hell. “I can always give you the soul of this man.” H lazily closed his eyes and basked on the aroma of the fresh blood around him. “How about both? That would be better.” While lifting his hand higher, he opened his eyes and a rush of color changed the heterochromatic ones to a solid, glowing red.

Disgusting greenish-black blood spilled everywhere. Everybody gasped while looking at the goddess in front of them. Alex’s appearance had changed the moment a blue moon defeated the blood moon. Now, the light of the blue moon glowed on her. Her long wavy blue with silver flecks hair danced with the wind, and her eyes turned to silver with gold flecks. Her white, blue dress hugged perfectly in her fit body. A shining sword in her hands tinted with greenish-black blood of the giant three-headed snake demon beast. It stunned everyone, and their mouths hung in awe while staring at the Goddess.

Seraphina tried to be firm but her soft voice betrayed her. Even still, Bethel sighed and seated herself next to Seraphina. “Familiars are the animals which Vampires can shape shift into. When a vampire child is born, they will have a silver birthmark which shows what their familiar will be. Familiars are a reflection of a Vampires true character.” Seraphina’s brows were knitted trying to make sense of what Bethel was saying. “Is that why Lord Stevano of House De-Buccleuch has that silver serpent on his face?” whispered Rose. “Yes, his familiar is a serpent, in fact the whole House De-Buccluech are reptiles of some sort, bunch of cold-blooded snakes” Bethel trailed off.

she said, her eyes as wide as his were. “Good idea,” Cutter replied. He looked down the street and saw Rider and Ivy, their backs to each other, their hands up. They looked just as surprised as he was, but prepared. A demon in the shape of a large snake began to wind its way out of a building down the street headed for the church. Cutter didn’t wait for any orders. He sent a beam of light out of his palm in its direction. The beast, which had to be close to thirty feet long with dark scales, and now he could see, three faces, reared up all of its ugly heads and tried to fight against his blast, but it couldn’t escape, and Cutter spoke the incantation that would destroy it.
