Ma’oz’s POV From my experience, when a demoness marches out with that sort of dark and tempestuous aura, all hell breaks loose. Homes will be wrecked, forests ripped bare, and the very course of the river will change. It would take days, if not weeks before the demoness can be placated. Usually, it involves the taking the spleen of whoever angers her. My mother was unusual. She never had such fits of anger or outbursts that damaged the realm. Many claimed she was too calm, too demure to be one of us.

’ I just smiled at her. ‘ Mama , what is a succubus?’ She tenses slightly before taking a deep breath before explaining ‘ They are a female demon type creature that sleeps with men as they sleep . She is not a full succubus or she would not be able to take a human-like form . I honestly need to talk to the spirits for guidance on this , but please don't let this bother you Gideon and I will start our research into this tomorrow I promise’ She finishes and leans in and kisses my forehead in such a motherly manner it warms my heart . “Thank you Mama” I say with a genuine smile .

Many people are afraid of them, because they are really strong and don’t show mercy to their enemies.”

I said with a snigger, "While my mom is more of a rational demon." "R-Rational demon!?" He knitted his brows, utterly puzzled as to what I meant. "Yeah, she is like... I'll kill and die for you at one moment, and in the next moment she is like 'I'M NOT YOUR GODDAMN MAID AND WILL BURN ALL THE SHIT ON YOUR BEDROOM FLOOR IN A MASSIVE BONFIRE AND DANCE AROUND THE FLAMES IN GLORY AND RAGE' you know." I mimicked my mama when she morphed into 'The Momster.'

She wasn't scared of her mother anymore not now that she had grown to be a strong and powerful sorcerer.
