"Who the hell is this?" he asked Damir internally. "That's Morgana, a high-ranking demon from the Abyss," Damir replied. A beat of silence. "This Abyss," Asher said, his tone shifting. "Where exactly is it?"

They didn't fly toward the Centinel; they flew toward the Glass Tubes. One by one, the butterflies landed on the foreheads of the "Happy-Harvested" shifters. They weren't biting; they were Injecting. "Hope, what are you doing?" I asked, my sunset-gold whip flickering as I parried another strike from the Centinel.

Hattie worriedly asked. "We must hurry! I feel her almost running wild in the underworld. If the Demons manipulate her in this state, she'll be consumed by darkness and rage, I fear there might be no way out for her if that happens!". Darla said out immediately before starting an incantation to summon the abyss that was hidden within the depths of the mountains. .
