A bead of bright blood colored his flesh and Serenity looked at it, leaning in.
Serenity’s mouth pressed against his lips, the drop of blood, cleaned away with her tongue and Thorne’s low moan echoed through her bones. His hands gripped her arms and pushed her back against the sofa and he stood, staring down at her, blood sliding down his chin.
His hands lifted and as his memories flooded into her, he signed. “Sleep.”
In all the years Thorne had been a demon, not once had his blood run cold.
