A steady, heart stopping beat of slow heavy footsteps sounded loud in the still quiet of the room as the warlocks stopped chanting and became like tranced zombies, staring unseeing at the circle.

It was only a matter of time before they started getting attacked by the other clans. The shadow-spirits were creatures who fed on chaos and doom. They were also lesser demons who, from time to time, needed to possess a human's body for rejuvenation. Survival was at first easy for them; they occasionally caused chaos between the other clans, but as time moved on, it became harder. Because, how do you cause doom to already doomed, lifeless, creatures? With no humans to possess or bother, it wasn't long before they were lying lifeless all around the scape.

Demon said as some shadows went to his hand forming a ball and he raised his hand up, ready to throw the dark shadow ball at her. "All these wouldn't have happened if you and your sister had just listened and run like I told you to. Too late for that now Ninja." He added his silver eyes shiny. The ninja was losing blood and she wondered why the King and the guards hadn't showed up yet.

The man put a protective arm around her waist and stood taller, maintaining complete eye contact. He barely registered his beta William shouting at him in his mind, no turning back now. “I, Jackson Hill, challenge you, Sam Silver, alpha of both Silvery Blood and SilverFang to a fight for title! Do you accept?!” The man only smirked, glancing down slightly at the woman who chuckled softly before speaking. “I, Alpha Samantha Silver, alpha of SilverFang and of Silvery Blood. Accept your challenge.” And then her eyes turned cold and hard as she flashed her teeth. “But you can call me Demon.”

Because, if her mom was alive, she was going to find her. For now, her path was clear. It was time to switch mind sets and totally commit, to block out everything else and just focus on one thing. He is powerful and really deadly just how you want it!” Hades said warmly as the flames on his head turned blue. “Hmm…I see. What do you call him?” Queen Lilith asked, taking a sip of blood from her cup. “I call him Albunuf, a slay demon. He can be really helpful to you.” Hades said, pouring himself a cup of blood into his cup.

"Call the blood. Call the divine. Let them try you now, little goddess." I straightened, meeting Thessaly’s gaze. “I want death traps woven into the very air. I want divine level shielding. I want them bleeding before they get within fifty fuckin’ feet.” Thessaly grinned. “Then we need blood. Yours. Your mates. Even the demon.” I didn’t flinch. “Done. Gather everyone. I’ll get them ready.”

Wilbur and Loja both stepped back, eyeing each other intently. Loja smiled faintly as he lifted his demon-subduing pestle, and a buzzing sound started to spread while the chants still echoed in the skies. In front of him, a five-meter-tall demon slayer appeared. It was also wielding a pestle as it charged at Wilbur. The onlookers could not help but cheer. Loja sure was impressive. He managed to summon a protector so easily. He truly was the strongest in Shia. At that moment, Wilbur swung his halberd, engaging the demon slayer.
