It crashed into the Powers at the front with such force that they exploded in front of my eyes, wings torn, limbs ripped free, scarred faces once so terrifying, now full of terror when the wave hit them.
Still, they kept on coming, still streaming out from the main body of the Angel army and seemingly not depleting the vast numbers there. Behind them, the Demons and the Angels stretched out endlessly, the violence of their fight making the ground shake with each bombardment and with the roar of their battle cries. The Powers were taking a dual approach, some earth-bound, some taking to the air, but the Demons appeared to be holding strong, wielding a strength I had never imagined in the face
