Steadying the pace of his wings, Calix looked below and saw two dozen Demons, with their peeled faces and mottled skin, pelting the rocks in their general direction. Anger filled him up. Demons were unstable at best, totally untrustworthy. Their involvement in Aldonra's plan was saying a lot. The queen really was planning something terrible for the mortals. Without second thoughts, Calix dive-bombed them. There was no need for a weapon. His fire was enough. He burned them into nothing before they could pick up more projectiles. The enemy Hellborns rushed to their aid, all of whom couldn't come close to him. He pushed past them, keeping them at bay with a blast of flames.
