Alpha Derrick's POV One of the elders raised his hands, "Why are you in a hurry, please speak calmly," it was at that point I knew I was speaking fast. I took a deep breath and tried speaking slowly and steadily, "My name is Derek, a lost wandering wolf who happened to be a victim of a certain coven. Somehow I was able to escape, I still can't tell how it happened. What matters is that I escaped, I was rescued by some members of this pack." One of the elders raised his hand, "Who are you? You can't just tell us your name is Derek and you are a lost and wandering wolf. Who the fuck are you?"

It was a pleasure to her ears. “follow me!” Derek said after a while. *** After taking whatever the healers gave him, he felt better yet, couldn't walk straight which made him look funny, like a one-leg man. Nino didn't win but, he sure did a marvelous job. “Prepare. We are going on a trip tomorrow. I have a dispute to settle and I cannot trust you to be of good nature, danger seems to follow you around.” Derek suddenly commented and Carly who was lost in thoughts, turned.

Andrew asked curiously. “Trying to find out if Anya is safe. From the looks of it she is.” Derek nodded as he reached up to the lowest hanging branch. He still had to jump to reach it but once his fingers grasped the strong bark he pulled himself up. “We will sleep in the trees tonight. Tomorrow at daybreak we keep looking.” “You’re the boss.” Andrew spoke as he followed Derek up the tree till the branches got too thin to hold their weight. They both pulled out rope and tied themselves carefully to the tree and passed out for a few hours.

My best friend and second in command Marcel, first announced but since It was not in a panic voice I didn't want to think so much of it, he likes to trick me when we are off duty, but only because of those tricks, the weight of being too professional and the rules that bound my world has not affected our friendship amongst others, although I'm not complaining about any of it, I have had my share of fun over the years so now I just let the rest fall Into place. Oh, this would get good. He had no damn idea who this woman was. I found humor in that. “Well, Kenzie, what would you say to someone who needs shelter from the hunters?” Derek asked with a smirk. He was testing her to see if she was truly on our side. He had no idea who she was, but these guys had been through so much, and many people had failed them throughout their lives. It was natural for them to be guarded.

“What exactly is going on?” “I guess I should start from the beginning. Derek and i have always had a passion for baking. We got closer through baking together. Calvin was always so traditional and intune with his Alpha core that he thinks such passion is belittling. Derek smiled at the memory. They were barely ten at the time, reckless and mischievous young boys who ran off into the woods to climb the trees and use twigs from the ground to fake sword fight. Derek wanted to keep looking for bigger and taller trees, so they kept walking deeper into the woods. Before they knew it, they could no longer see where they had come from and the sky had turned to a rich orange color; it was sunset. They were without the sun and they were surrounded by trees so they couldn't tell what direction they were facing.
