AVA’S POV After the grand walk-in of those men in tailored suits with their leader, Vincenzo, who had me on chokehold, not because of his handsomeness, but because of the aura emitting from him, everything changed. It screamed danger so much that ice slashed down my spine at any given chance. And his soulless eyes? It was everything I wasn’t. Cold. Calm. Domineering. Dark and menacing. I almost melted under his scrutinizing gaze and the second he turned on his heels and disappeared down the hallway, I was finally able to breathe again.

The cottage was like my dad's hidden lair because it was very hard to find and after a rumage through the shelves, Kai had stumbled on the book again and had passed it to me. It had a boldly written title THE REPELLER's DESCENDANTS I've gone quarter of the pages and all I see were pictures of the previous repellers who passed down their gifts through their DNA. I had purposely gone to the end of the book and had seen the last repeller. Maybe they thought the next one would start the book 2 and I'm the next one. I was surprised finding my grandmother's photo amongst them. She was a repeller too.(This is all my imaginations, not real, just a novel imagination, read on)

Dmitri asked in stutter with his eyes wide open as he stared at the glowing water in front of them. Romero immediately mind-linked her wife and passed on the message of their discovery to the enchantress. “What would that supposed to mean?” Calliope asked the enchantress but Inessa was still staring at the moon. “Calliope…” she called out before turning to looked at the anxious woman behind her. “I think the moon goddess had descended,” she uttered with her eyes glowing softly. In Bulan, Agatha opened her eyes and turned to her daughter who was waiting for her to say something.

"So, do devils actually exist? if they do, do humans have demon-like powers such as controlling fire or turning into beasts?" "I don't know whether demons are real or not, but when I read the legend of the formation of Lithonia, I realized that there are many things in this world that I have never met. Devils, just like Gods. They are not the same as us, ordinary humans. But there is one fact that I knew a few years ago about the kings who once ruled Lithonia. The first king was a descendant of Gods, it made him inherit a very large and often hidden mysterious power. The fact that only the descendants of the first king could inherit that power. It was a good question, so she asked it, hoping something would start to make sense eventually. “Simple,” Damien said. “You would never have gone for it. Nick’s description of you being a tight ass was pretty accurate back then. You needed to see it as some sort of challenge to your pride before you would give in to your darker side. Now that you have, we can go even darker, deeper down that path, which is exactly what you said you wanted, if I remember correctly.” He tilted his head to the side slightly. “You do still want it, right?”

A loud and deafening screech welcomed them; the band of darkness was no longer lingering the cauldron’s mouth. The piercing cry grew louder as they entered the cabin. Clarence did not care about what the sound was, so he went over to the alpha and tried waking him up. Unfortunately, it was hopeless – Cliden was no longer breathing. Clarence, though he was envious of his brother’s position, cared for him. After all, Cliden was the only family he had left who was bold enough to accept his unfriendly nature despite of him being indifferent, and he regretted it – he regretted choosing envy over love.

Dr. Melendez averted his gaze from Justine's angry gaze. "I'm fully aware of the harm, possibly more so than you are. You only understand what you've seen for yourself on the ground. My connections in other nations kept me as up to date as conceivable until the broadcasts stopped and I was alone."

It is a bit dark in the middle, but gets steamy at the end.* Destiny Stepping out of the shower, I walked into my closet and looked for the perfect dress. Tonight was going to be special since we didn't have to hide anymore, no matter where we went. I decided on one of my favorites, a fuchsia sleeveless bodycon mini club party dress. I let my towel drop to the floor and I slide the dress on. I went over to my shoes and decided on a pair of silver heels to go with it. I walked out of the closet and into the bathroom where Jasmine was now getting ready.
