A man dressed in a blue and black uniform stood at the widely opened gate; Caitlyn guessed the man was his gatekeeper. Immediately the gate opened, he ignited his car's engine and moved his car with such force that Caitlyn fell to the floor, again. “I'm sorry, sir! I'm so sorry,” she watched his gatekeeper apologise while bowing. He ignored the man and simply drove in. Caitlyn rushed over to the gatekeeper. “Can you let me in, please?” she pleaded shamelessly with a smile.

The questions multiplied faster than she could handle them. Desperate to steer the conversation away from such painful memories—and her own spiraling fears—she asked, “Do all spirit guides have names? Like the ones you mentioned before?” The question seemed to pull Magnus back from the edge of his dark thoughts. A small smile tugged at the corner of his mouth as his hand moved to the dragon mark on his chest. “Yes,” he said, his voice warming in a way that made her heart skip. “Mine is Kaito.” As if on cue, Cathy felt a flutter of movement inside her. A wave of warmth washed through her body, so distinct from the usual kicks and rolls that she gasped. It felt… familiar somehow.

She looked very much like Jennifer Connelly, with the way her eyebrows framed her kind, delicate eyes. She and K had some resemblance, too. They were both stunningly beautiful, with slim physique, the right combination of sharp and soft features on their faces, and they were of the same height, too. The only difference was, K was more exotic, which was probably something she got from her nonexistent father. "Come on in now, kids," Laura ushered them in, literally dragging both K and Jesse to the steps of the patio. "Get in and get warm, real quick." She demanded.

The smirk disappeared and he was full of concern. “Kate” he called as he sat on the chair opposite me, “this is my partner...Kayla” she answered with a smile. “Every clue counts in this investigation, you have to be honest with us” she said with a tone that gave away her suggestion.

Eric’s POV "Hello, Mr, do you mind if we ask you any questions, My name is Detective Conan, and this is my partner Karl, " the detective said while pointing to a short sturdy man who was his partner. The detective looked tall about 6ft2, which is probably why his partner was looking too short. I was quiet because I didn’t feel like talking, so it was only harry that kept replying to the detectives questions. "What is your relationship with the victim," he asked and Harry gave him a short reply.

Back at the Shiratori residence, it was empty. The head of the Shiratori family has some work to do, Konomi is having a get together with her friends, Kazuha left to tutor Kurai again, Toya and Noriko are at club practice, and Ren is at cram school. 'I'm getting used to this and I guess it's bad' She got up and heard another doorbell. "Yes?" She said as she opened the door and looked at the meek man in front of him. "Is Kirito home?" He asked. "Yes, he is. Who might you be, sir?" Vivian asked. "I'm Keta Tanabe, the personal assistant of Mr. Ellois Carter Kurosava. Kirito forgot his phone at the office today so I came here to return it." He handed the phone to Vivian.

I knew things could get this rough, so I insisted I go alone, despite Cara’s constant pleading and objection. He was huge and had a monstrous stature, which made it difficult to bring him down. He was extremely strong and a blow from his hand was rumored to be so strong, it could bring down a house if well-directed to its foundations and pillars.
