Placing my face back on the ground I let out a whine about having to get up for school. Feeling frustrated I sit up on the ground before standing up and begining to make my bed, feeling a little satisfied when I'm done I climb down the latter. Walking into the restroom I begin to do my morning routine washing my face and brushing my teeth. Letting out a yawn I turn off the bathroom light on my way out. Going to my closet, I remember there isn't really a dress code, but each section is supposed to were a certain color to represent it. Vampires wear red, witches wear purple, demons wear black, angels wear white and werewolves wear blue.

He explained. I exhaled. "I know, but, let me handle this okay?" He sighed. "Alright," Olivia's POV I was all ready for the party. I was still quite surprised that I will be gracing the party with Devon. The maids had me dressed up and ready. It was an off shoulder blue starry dress with a deep v neck. It tightened around my waist and then flayed down. A silver pendant was around the bodice. The dress had a slit in the middle.

Julianna’s POV: My mother always told me the devil didn't appear with horns and a robe. She said he came dressed in a tailored suit. But she never warned me about his scent. It was an intoxicating blend of Cuban tobacco, bourbon and something familiar – freedom, Vegas. My devil.

m. “Finally,” I muttered, standing. Rowan groaned. “Please stop calling it cult night.” “Then they should stop making it feel like cult night.” He didn’t argue. I went into my room. The outfit was already laid out. White dress. Simple. Long sleeves. High neck. Fitted at the waist. Innocent on purpose. I stared at it for a moment too long. Then picked it up. “Symbolic bullshit,” I muttered. The black cloak sat beside it.

THE NIGHTMARE MASTER DIDN’T bother to dress me in some elaborate get-up like the other Nightmare Lords and instead just dressed me in a lab coat with a black shirt, black jeans, surgical gloves, a face mask, and sneakers. Those were the details he cared about, though it was the blood covering every inch of my clothes and exposed skin. My lab coat had once been white, but was now encrusted with red blood. My hair and skin suffered the same fate, though thankfully the face mask covered most of my face and the gloves covered my hands. Still, every time he gives me control, I wash everything off, scrubbing my skin until it is red.

Her eyes glittered with a manic triumph as she looked out over the crowded courtyard. Beside her stood the pack’s chief headsman, a massive, faceless warrior clad in solid black iron armor, his broad hands resting on the hilt of a heavy, double-edged executioner’s axe. Kneeling at the absolute center of the wooden stage, his head forced down over a massive block of scarred oak, was Devon. He looked completely broken, his tattered clothes soaked through with a dark crimson that stained the wood beneath his chest. The white medical linens wrapped around his torso were fraying, and his breathing was a shallow, wet rattle. He did not fight the iron chains locking his wrists to the floorboards. H

Excitement mingled with panic in my veins as I rushed over to the wardrobe. But then… I paused. What do you even wear when you're going into enemy territory with the devil himself? I yanked open the closet doors, scanning the elegant but emotionless row of dresses Ronan’s staff had selected for me. Nothing screamed “free woman.” Everything screamed “property of Ronan.” My hands hovered over a soft lavender dress before I yanked it back. No. Too gentle. Too easy. I reached for something darker. Bolder. A deep maroon silk dress that hugged my curves and carried the scent of rebellion. If I was going out, I was going out looking like I belonged to no one.

I heard the devils voice "And who are you" "The devil" "The devil" he said, everybody turned towards him, I did too, the look he has right now Scares me to the core, I have never seen him this angry, though he appears calm But you can see the fury in his eyes "Are you trying to teach me my job" Choke barked, the devil said nothing, that's more frightening He is not yet in his uniform, he is wearing a red T-shirt and black trousers, looking total badass.

With my red lipstick and smokey eyes I looked bold. "Thanks to you", I rolled my eyes at her.

I looked closer, trying to make myself feel better by identifying the awful bodies of vampires we fought earlier. The white and black fabric looked like it belonged to a tux or suit. Looking closer, I studied the apparel. Vestiges of a yellow tie was hung around the body's neck like a noose. Shining, melted dress shoes were sinking into the skeleton's feet, morphed by the heat of the fire earlier. Only, I don't remember the Vampires being dressed up like this. The Souths pack was the only group that was, but they were at the party.
