“Such as?” Cody opened the door to his office, ushering me in. “Well, like he was Lya’s guard when she was held hostage. He fed us all the information we needed, down to things like if we cut their electricity, it would take twenty minutes for their generator to kick in. "You guys still busy?" Cody, who noticed my presence, immediately gave me an expectant look, like a puppy asking to be picked up. "Hi, Mia, do you want me to do something?" I secretly smiled amusedly at his face that was pleading for me to actually give him any task so he could be free from Lukas soon. "Mmm, I actually want to ask you to find someone from the Advertising Department who can join the meeting with us later." Cody's face still looked pleading, not yet satisfied with my command. I sighed, complying with his request. "Now, Cody. Be quick, or Rory will—"

Cody slams the door shut, and I hear fabric rip as he tears his shirt off over his head. "I say we double-team her. She was teasing us both the whole way. No fucking panties," he growls in my ear, right before sinking his fangs into my shoulder—right over my matemark. "FUCK!" I scream, cumming right against Ivan’s pants. "Ass or pussy?" Ivan asks Cody, though his mouth is still crushed against mine. "I want that pretty ass," Cody says, Howl layering his voice. Ivan pulls me against him just long enough for Cody to slip behind me.

In it, Jason stood in the middle of the conference room, drenched in sweat, staring helplessly at the error-filled code projected on the screen. "Jason, aren't you an algorithm expert?" Peter's mocking voice came through the video. "This little problem shouldn't be too hard for you, should it?" Jason's face was ashen. His lips trembled, but no words came out. "I… I need time to analyze it…"

It’s a whole other issue if an Alpha attacks a ranked member from a different pack. “Syd, let me handle it.” I can barely pull her off him before she does any damage. “What the hell is going on!” I know that roaring dominating voice. “I’d pick one from the third page.” I raised a brow. “You have a name in mind?” He shrugged his shoulders. “Whatever one you think is best.” I sighed, flipping through the magazine. This guy had high numbers. “How about, Derek Outerman?” Cody bobbed his head to the side. “Not a bad choice.” I gave him a wide smile. Craft stood up from the floor and held his hand out to me once Cody went on to the next pick. “Come here, I want to show you something.”

Back in college, he’d always considered himself superior to Luthor—except in one area he couldn’t stand losing in: academic performance. Cody despises this flaw because he desires to be better than Luthor in every way. However, no matter how hard he tried, Luthor always outperformed him. At that time, Luthor hadn't paid attention to the competition but that inferiority had festered into deep resentment. Over the years, Cody had made it his mission to belittle Luthor whenever possible. In the past, after Luthor's family crisis, he was also one of the main people that were mean and made ridiculous insults to Luthor.

Irving just snorts, tossing his empty canteen onto the table. Right on cue, the hydraulic seals on the main vault doors hiss violently. The thick steel plates slide open, revealing Commander Cody Tucker. He steps into the armory, holding the hand of a small, sharp-eyed boy who couldn't be older than eight years old. The kid wears a miniature tactical vest and a small pack strapped to his shoulders, his golden wolf eyes cool, calculating, and eerie for his young age. Cody offers me a brisk, respectful nod. "Apologies for the delay, Chika. I had to retrieve Forrest from the forward observation post."

Ida explained. "Ok, understood." Zeno was starting to understand the mission bit by bit. "Let's go," Cody said, opening the door. "Hey, wait!" Ida quickly grabbed Cody's arm. "What?" Cody asked impatiently. He seemed to be in high spirits from the mission.
