Emerson POV The words sliced through the murmurs around me. They weren’t the worst ones. “Don’t look at her,” someone whispered urgently, too close to my ear. “Snake-eyes bring bad luck.” Another voice followed, lower, fearful. “That’s why the Alpha hates her. You don’t stare at things like that and survive.” My stomach twisted. Several pack members turned, their glares sharpening. Some looked away quickly, like my eyes might infect them if they lingered too long. One of them bared his fangs and lunged forward, his steps heavy and deliberate.

Rey stood firm, his grip on the branch tightening as he steeled himself for the confrontation with the snake. Rey stared at the snake, his mind focused on the task at hand. And with a swift move, he raised the branch and struck the snake with a powerful blow, aiming for the spot just behind its head. The snake's body recoiled, its tail thrashing wildly as it let out a menacing hiss. Without hesitating, Rey struck again, and again, each blow landing with more force than the previous one. The snake's struggles gradually began to weaken, its body going limp as the life drained from its eyes. Rey continued to strike until he was sure the snake was completely dead.

I couldn’t keep up with all the text moving across the screen, but I knew it was some sort of code or something. “I am going to buy us a little time and send a virus to the Kidnappers, to keep them busy. Whoever is hacking seems to have a little skill, so he will attempt to fight back against what I am doing. It will at least keep them busy for a bit, so they aren’t messing with your son.” Snake explained without me needing to ask what he was doing.

It seemed that he was in pretty good luck for this kid's illness to act up at just the right time, or he would have been tortured to no end. At the thought, Darryl watched Simone more and quickly figured out what was going on. This kid seemed to have poison in her that had been activated, and it seemed to be poison from the Tepan Snake. The Tepan Snake was a rare spirit snake that inhabited mostly blazing hot atmospheres, like lava or fire. It contained a powerful fire poison that lasted very long, and one bite from it would send its poison deep into the veins, deeply impossible to remove.

Their eyes turned red directly. Mr. Serpent Win Mara had also changed himself to a giant black snake. It turned out that he was a snake demon. His body was seen whirling here and there in the air, slaying and slaying quite lots and lots of soldiers, fighters, and also knights from Ocean Blue Land.

This and three other topazes held by three other lords that formed the four clans of The Brotherhood of the Oracle, had the peculiarity of allowing their bearers to communicate by thoughts to each other, and with the Supreme Priest of the Brotherhood, who guarded the Golden Snake that housed the rest of the gems. The power of the Fellowship resided in the gems embedded into that snake-shaped device. A large golden snake rolled on itself stood half-lifted with its head pointing upward. It held with its mouth, a four-pointed golden star by one of its spikes. Between each spike, there were four receptacles to fit the four topazes.

Mira whispered from behind with a smile. His body fell to the ground and turned into thousands of tiny snakes. The same thing happened to his heart. “Freaking snake,” Mira grunted. She knew it wasn’t his true body. A snake master wasn’t someone who liked to play within short range. This one was no different. He made a clone of himself from his own snakes.

It also has yellow, serrated spiky teeth and black eyes. “Whoa, what the hell is that?” Damon said in disbelief. Kyra pressed her bracelet, and her dagger came out. Kyra rushed into it and waved her two blades at the snake’s body. Two boomerang daggers struck the head of the demon serpent, and it grunted. Damon looked at Cael, who had just arrived. The three of them covered their ears because of the fiendish rattling of the demon serpent. The serpent quickly drifted away from them and flew them down the stairs with its tail hitting the three of them.

They all looked up when a huge snake showed in front of them with a couple of small snakes. Soheila smirked. ”A snake. A C-ranked boss with its little servants.” She looked at small snakes before turning towards her friends. “Well, this is a lot and we'll gain a lot of points from this.” “Hell yeah,” Sirene positioned herself before dashing towards the small snakes at first while avoiding the boss snake. Luna prepared her bow and arrows and aimed at the small snakes. Soheila swung her sword and a ton of small snakes' head fell. “They are weak.” she whispered. With just one swing of her sword, a ton of snakes were taken down.
