Roth Dimitri had lived his entire life in control. He prided himself on the discipline to bend the world to his will. But now, every time he thought of Elena, that control cracked. It had started on the first night he met her at the club, the very day he landed in the country. X-Club was one of the clubs he owned. He had spent the first part of the evening in the VVIP section, watching the crowd before deciding to step onto the dance floor himself.

“I asked your name. I want to know the name of the pathetic prick who needs to kidnap a woman to feel powerful.” He paused, “A tiny spark of the fire remains! Good. Don’t worry, Aryn. You will know my name intimately. You will remember it every night when you wake up screaming.” He leaned against the table, running a perfectly manicured finger across the cold steel. “My name is Dimitri. Dimitri Volkov. And I suggest you commit it to memory, because it is the name that will make you shake with terror for the rest of your short, miserable life.”

"I am going out to the countryside for a few hours." He moved toward the door. "I will be back before dinner." He walked out. Dimitri stood in the middle of his study and looked at the doorway he had just walked through. He shook his head once. He opened his mouth to say something to the empty room and then closed it again.

I heard Dimitri says if I was not mistaken his voice sounded disappointed and dejected? “It could be a trap, I don’t trust him but he gave me a lead, one of Vetino’s nightclub; the one at Mishtil street is suspected of--” Xander’s voice suddenly stopped, I pressed my ear harder against the door, almost begging to hear more about whatever Damon informed Alexander and why Dimitri is so meddlesome to know the cause of his visit. More importantly, why would Xander tell him? Dimitri is only here for my snag, I don’t recall him saying he has any trust bonds nor affairs with Xander.

I laughed, a little bit grateful for their distraction. "Mrs. Kingston." A familiar voice spoke behind me. I turned to find Dmitri, one of Xenois's most trusted men, he looked huge and had a lot of scars that gave him a black boy vibe. If I wasn't in love with Xenois, I would have gone after him. Despite his intimidating appearance, he'd always been respectful toward me. "Dmitri," I acknowledged, a genuine smile on my face this time.. "Enjoying the party?" "Not my scene," he admitted, then surprised me by crouching down to the boys' level.

“You think you’re going to get answers by trying to beat them out of him? You're just going to end up killing him and there is not going to be good for us to it.” “He deserves worse.” I snapped. “Maybe. But that doesn’t mean we waste our energy now.” Damon’s voice dropped further. “Use your head. Not your rage.” I clenched my jaw. Behind us, Carter said, voice ragged, “She called herself Tatiana. She… she said things about Delilah. About power. About what’s coming.” Damon turned slowly. “Spare me.” Carter blinked. “You don’t believe me?” Damon’s expression hardened. “I don’t believe anything from a man who watched us bleed and said nothing.”

Dimitri "The Lunar pack is our safest spot to hide Dimitri," Damien argued. I looked at Damien and had to admit that he has looked better. He was pacing up and down the tiny lounge area as if on a mission. His hair was extremely disheveled which is due to the fact that he kept running his hands through his hair in frustration. But then again, I am certain that I looked way worse than Damien. I mean he still had time to shave while I had let my stubble grow. I cannot recall ever putting a brush to my hair and the dye I had was starting to wash out. I also cannot recall taking a shower in the past few days.

He sniffles again, not crying anymore, his voice becoming more rigid as he responds, “My mother was Alaina Tatia, My father was an Alpha’s second son, Jax. I’m going to be eighteen this year.” I realize he’s giving me all this information, with the belief that I'll tell him where Alora is, but I can't speak. I only stay in silence, and I see the light flee from Dimitri’s eyes as he realizes he’s not getting an answer out of me. He sniffles again and turns around, locking the bars behind him as he leaves.

“Help yourself.” Dimitri grinned. “Don’t mind if I do.” Dimitri took a slow sip of his drink, his eyes sweeping over me before landing back on Alessandro. “So,” he drawled, “This is the woman who finally managed to tie down Alessandro Costello.” His lips twitched. “I have to admit, I expected someone... meaner.” I arched a brow, “And I expected someone taller.” Alessandro let out a low exhale, but Dimitri just laughed, “Oh, I like you, solnishko.”

I mind linked Rozim, “Rozim you need to get out of there right now, I’ve got your mother. Just get out and set the place on fire, we’re waiting for you” He replied, “I’ll be with you shortly, just a few more minutes please” After some minutes, we heard a loud boom! And the whole dungeon went up in flames, I tried to mind link Rozim to find out if he was okay and if he had left the place before it blew up but he’s not responding.
