I sighed as I focused on performing one of the spells uncle taught me. This spell helps us find a person's location, it is not a very difficult one, but it does take a lot of your concentration and energy. I have failed twice because I keep losing my concentration. I have Aiden's shirt so I could perform the spell to trace him. I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath and pushing all the thoughts away from my mind as I concentrated at performing the spell. Its red eyes dimmed, its movements slowing, and I felt it—the power surging through me, ancient and unstoppable, like a river breaking free. I stopped right at its feet, staring up into its hollow face, and with one final word, the spell snapped shut.The creature let out a final, guttural screech, and then it was gone. Its body dissolved into a cloud of black smoke, curling into the air before vanishing completely. The clearing fell silent, the weight of its presence lifted, leaving only the sound of my own ragged breathing and the faint rustle of leaves.

When she had said the last words of the incantation, the objects she had placed in the circle all glowed a fierce white, akin to effusion rising in waves.

So, we three send you back.” Hissed Thomas as he walked over to the marble bowl that held the ingredients that called him forth. Thomas took a knife from his back pocket and sliced his palm adding the blood drops that would severe the spell.
