Inside, Xander lay on a bed while the doctors who were attending to him checked his pulse as they asked him a series of questions. “Do you feel any discomfort?” One of the doctors asked while checking his eyes. Nodding his head weakly, Xander replied to him, “Not really doctor, Just dizziness”. He said. Adjusting his glass on the bridge of his nose properly, another doctor said, “That is expected. Your mind and body are still adjusting, but you are improving quickly”. Smiling, the first doctor smiled and said with a reassuring smile. “You are really doing well”. As soon as he said this, the nurse who was outside, opened the door and they all stepped inside.

My hand dropped from his face and I turned to leave then the door opened. A younger, handsome doctor entered the room. My eyes stayed fixed on him, my heart beating as I watched him adjust his glasses. Then he cleared his throat, breaking my out of my trance. “Hi, I'm Doctor Xavier.” His name sounded familiar. He extended his hand for a handshake and I paused, looking at him from head to toe. The hair was the same, the face structure, the voice and… Oh my God, they had the same eyes.

Tatiana finally stirred. As her lashes parted, the first thing she saw was the ceiling above her, pale and still, before the sensation of cool dampness touched her forehead. A towel. Before he could give me a response, A middle aged man wearing a lab coat entered the room. “Hello everyone!.” The doctor greeted as he stared hard at Xander. “Hello doctor!.” I waved at him with a small smile on my face. “Enough with the pleasantries, come and have me discharged!.” Xander rudely orders the doctor.

“I don't have a personal doctor named Ericson Labbonaire. My doctor is Oliver Maxmillan. He's an old doctor, but don't doubt his thoroughness in examining his patients. He is a very smart doctor.” An old man? Xander really wanted to laugh at his stupidity. Someone who had called him and claimed to be his mother's personal doctor was not someone who was old. He recognized the voice as a young man. Xander was suddenly overcome with anger. The only reason he accepted the marriage was because he wanted to make his sick mother happy.
