Despite its current appearance of beauty and luxury, I am not interested in going there at this time. Perhaps in the future, but not currently. I accompanied Maria as she entered the store. **** “I think we should go with the vanilla flavor, it’s yummy, and kids will like it,” Maria advised, and immediately my mood turned bitter. Vanilla is adored by this woman, along with other things, and has been a staple in her desserts since she was a child, as every flavored dessert she made always seemed to include a hint of vanilla.

“I don't take vanilla anymore.” “What?!” Jane's eyes widened. “Why? I mean you used to love it so much when you were little! What changed?” Her eyes darkened. “Was it your wife… perhaps… that told you to stop taking vanilla because maybe she's allergic to it or something?” “Oh no!” Blaire responded sharply. Picking up a vanilla biscuit, she smiled serenely as she said, “I love vanilla.” Then she bit into it and chewed down on it.

“Sir, I didn’t mean anything—” “Don’t apologize to him,” Siena said. “You did nothing wrong.” She took the sonogram from his hands. “I was just showing Giovanni the baby we made together. He decided to share his family recipe for the best chocolate chip cookies in the world—that way I can make them for the baby someday.” My eyes narrowed in annoyance. “You’ll be dead the day they’re born. And I’m pretty sure a one-day-old baby can’t eat cookies.” She set the sonogram down and crossed her arms over her chest, looking fiery.

He replies, throwing a teasing wink my way as I return to my own office. Jason Stone has always been like a father to me. He helped me with my homework whenever I would hang out at Lucas' place. But make sure everything we buy from Brianna is clean.” “Of course. There, sir, there are more designs of cookies.” I pointed to the cookies area. “Let’s go.” He nodded. I walked first to the cookies area. I got different designs of cookies. “Sir, Hawaiian chocolate. Does Brianna like chocolate?” “I... I don’t know.” I almost slapped myself for asking that question. I just remembered, Esther told me he and Brianna aren’t close. That’s why Sir Calix doesn’t know.
