Author's POV Aria lifted her head, listening carefully. It was coming from the car parked a few feet away from her. As she slowly approached the car, her eyes scanned the area but couldn’t find anything. A small whisper reached her ear as she turned slowly, bending down. She looked under the car. Her breath got caught in her throat as she saw there, curled up in the shadow of the car, a small dog. It was around two or three months old. His body was covered in dirt. His body had an injury, a limp leg, and those innocent eyes were filled with fear.

“A surprise? For me? I’m already excited—what is it?” “Go on, sweetheart,” Aria urged, brushing a strand of hair behind Nina’s ear. “Show your daddy.” Nina opened the book with a nervous glance at the room, then drew a deep breath. “I have a dog. The dog is big. It has a hat. The hat is red…” The room hushed. Every eye locked on Nina, but the silence wasn’t tense—it was filled with warmth and awe. Smiles bloomed across their faces, yet Mason sat frozen, breath shallow.

Edwin notices a book in one of the corner and it was so hidden and he was so curious to know what he it carried. He slowly goes to the corner and grabs it, it was tied with a leather rope and this meant that it was so special. He opened it slowly and cleaned the dust out of it. It was an ancient book that contains diagrams and illustrations about the wolf community and special skills they owned and how to attain them. It seems to be a very exciting book since for a wolf member to realise his special ability you was to use this special guide book that was written by their ancestors. It was a very special book end it was used mostly during practices bye the wolf community only.

Look closer. Her gaze settled on a particularly weathered book tucked away near the corner. Its cover was simple, but a faint embossed design caught the light - a pair of intertwined wolves beneath a crescent moon. The image sent a shiver down her spine, and her fingers tingled as she pulled it from the shelf. She opened it carefully, the pages crackling with age. The script was ornate, the kind that took a moment to decipher, but the accompanying illustrations made her breath catch. Drawings of wolves with hollowed eyes and jagged teeth, their forms twisted and monstrous, filled the margins.

' I thought as I remembered the book that I had read. The book was about the legendary Queen from before 5-6 centuries, and the front cover of the book was a white female wolf growling at the moon. "This isn't what it looks like, right?" I heard someone say near me, or should I say Carla before she growled loudly.

Novel's POV After returning home, the book seemed to pulse on my desk, demanding to be opened. Earlier, I’d told that woman I had a boyfriend, but the truth stung, Alexei hadn’t even asked me out yet. How pathetic of me. “The Book of Outer Land,” I whispered, sliding on my reading glasses. As I opened the cover, a cloud of ancient dust drifted upward, smelling of cedar and forgotten places. “Ouch, cough! Seriously?” I sputtered, waving the dust away. My eyes landed on the dedication page.

I begin to stand up and grab the smaller hamper when Lorie begins to speak. "Um.. Layla?" She says hesitantly. "Yes." I reply back gently. "Can we read a book tonight?" She asks with pleading eyes. "Sure!" I reply. "What did you have in mind?" I ask as I approach the side of her bed. Slowly Lorie pulls a book out from under her pillow and hands it to me as I sit down on the bed next to her. The book is a mild chapter book and the label reads "Hank the Cowdog".

After I got it I pulled out a chair and sat in front of the table near it by the window. "Deceptive," I read in the written title of the book, I opened it in turn and what popped up to me was a picture of a large creature that was half human and wolf, its body full of feathers. “He has no death, to this day he is still alive, trying to save the woman he first loved and wants to be with for life,” I read here. There was some spark that flowed through my being. I wasted no more time and I opened the book, but my torn eyebrows met its pages, even if I looked over and over I could not read anything, until I got to the back of the book and there was I noticed a very small letter.

She watched as Zayne flipped opened pages. “You need to read this” zayne handed her the book with a page wide opened. Even though Quinn was scared, she took the book from Zayne. Her eyes popped out on seeing the heading on the page that was open, “GREY WOLVES WITH BLACK DOTS” And curiously, her eyes roamed the content of the page. Zayne watched as her eyes moved quickly on the book. He wasn’t hearing any word from her, but he knew she was reading it in her heart as her lips moved slowly without a word.

They were both taken aback, Cwena looked up at the window to see if anyone was there and Gerey stared at the door, expecting anyone to come in at that moment. “I'm the book you dolts!” the book said in a boring, matter-of-fact voice, “you didn't expect me to be a dumb book that bears the tickles of an inked feather tingling on its pages do ya?!” “Uhm, no - no. Not at all,” Cwena put in mildly, trying hard to hide the look of disbelief at what she could see right before her, on the gathered hay. The book remained silent, twisting its lips like a female putting on a gloss, “Well, I'm Cwena Engow, and this is Gerey -”
