She walked closer to one of the big shelves and touched it. She knew she wasn't supposed to be there, but she couldn't help looking around more. She took one book from the shelf and cleaned off the dust on it. She saw a picture of a black wolf on the cover of the book, which was titled A Pack of Wolves. "I can't believe a man like him reads fantasies." She scoffed. She was going through the books when her eyes suddenly caught a book. The book had a black cover with no picture on it. "Werewolves rule." She read it silently. She was about to open the book when she suddenly heard something whispering behind her.

If I was closer I could hear what they were saying to each other but since I am keeping my distance I can only make assumptions. As they all have their heads cocked to the side I can tell that they are questioning what she is doing since she is not digging with them. Finally she jumps up and down excitedly wagging her tail and gets to digging exactly underneath where she is standing. Her excited bark fills the forest as she pulls out an old book that was buried in the ground.

I rolled my eyes, "Your book is fine, Case." "No, it's not. Look at this crease! You did that!" She wailed out, pointing to one of the corners of her book cover. I squinted, trying to see what she was referring to but still couldn't see any. I finally gave up after a few seconds. "You should be grateful I haven't burned your book collection for taking up so much space in this house." I muttered under my breath as I dusted myself off. I swear I've never seen someone's head turn so fast in my life. It was like those horror movie scenes where the possessed person turns their head in an unnatural speed to a super creepy angle that causes their hair behind your neck to rise.

I feel safe being alone here because I know there are two guards outside the library. If only I could do something to help Damon. If only I had the ability to recognize who betrayed Damon. I put down the book I was reading on the table and looked at the high shelves in the library and suddenly the book I saw before came to my mind. That book was written by Alpha Devon and there is a faint suspicion that there is a torn page in that book. I know it's not unusual for a book to be torn because it's natural for a book, to tear and get old...but that book was strange. The book is old, but you will know that every paper used is durable. It can't just be torn because of its old age.

Akira suggested as she flipped through the books laying in front of her. She flipped through three more books before settling on the fourth. “Here's something” she said as she passed the book to Rune who took it from her expectantly. “Well then, I hope you're ready for your first lesson.” Akira nodded while Rune read aloud. “Þa Wordes of Dreogan – Of Houndras, the Unwitan Beasts” he read. Akira gave him a confused look and he responded with a shrug of his shoulders.

He said before handing it over. The book was only a little larger than my palm, and the pages were so few that I frowned. Can this even be considered a book? Nevertheless, I flipped to the first page, only to see a blank space. But on the second page, I paused. It was a sketch of a black mark, very similar to the one on Lena's shoulder. There were no words written under the mark, so I flipped to the next page quickly. The next thing I saw was the mark staying in, and I furrowed my brows. On the next page, it was the same thing, and on the last page, what I saw was an enormous black wolf, having a hint of brown and white to its fur.

My shaft appreciated it greatly. “Where did you hear that word, you silly dragon?” “Orion and Willa wrote a book,” I said sheepishly. My face grew hot. Remembering what one of the rutting baskets held. I snatched the book quickly and hid it away so Odessa could not see. “And what did it say?” Her eyebrows raised along with her smile. “Many things,” I coughed, rolling over to my back as Odessa and I stood connected to each other. Her head rested on my shoulder, fingers tickling my arms.

She had noticed that he seemed a little moved when she looked at him with her blue eyes, as though they were puppy eyes so she decided to test one last method on him. Rafe had excused himself to use the bathroom, while there, he heard the sound of a dog whimpering. He wasn't sure what it was so he decided to go about his business but when he came back, he couldn't find Snow anymore. He heard a noise behind him and spun around to find a bright white werewolf with blue eyes standing at the corner of the room, on a furry white carpet. Her fur glowed in the moonlight, making her look like a spirit of the night.

He closed his eyes with the pain and when he opened them again, the sight of the dog met him. The dog came to him and healed the small joint injuries that were still left from the time the Guards took him. The injuries they inflicted were permanent, which no one could heal. He felt relieved, but then looked at a book. This was a unique book, not like the one he had seen before. It did not have the names of both of them. It only showed his name. This book was about him.

Others leaned forward. Mrs. Doris held up her hand and the room went quiet again. "I know what I saw," she said firmly. Miss Milly spoke up. She looked confused. "I thought hollow shifts were just myths. Stories we tell young cubs to scare them, like those tales under the moonlight." Mrs. Doris reached into her bag. She pulled out an old book. It was leather bound and the pages were a frail dusty color. She opened it to a marked page and set it on the table.
