Dogman Age Range Novels & Stories

He looked to be in his early thirties, but he was almost fifty years old. I narrowed my eyes at the back of the other werewolf, who hadn't even bothered to check on the woman. He was obviously older, probably close to a couple centuries, even though he looked to be in his late thirties. His hair was deep black and kept short in a military buzz cut. His jaw was strong and his nose was hooked. His eyes were cold, hard, and gray.

"I never told you about it because we both wanted to find our mate first. So, I was... "Chris, you’re still twenty-one. Male wolves can find their mate until they are twenty-eight. As for now, who knows? Your partner might not even be eighteen yet. You shouldn’t rush because Moon Goddess had a habit of keeping an age difference of a maximum of ten years." Hearing this, Chris groaned. He knew I was right about that part.

That one got a little smile from her. "I need to explain what I am to you and what we are to each other. Each wolf is given a mate usually between the ages of 16-18 we've found them. I didn't find mine until now. I'm twenty eight. But, being a wolf my aging slows down, I can live for hundreds of years and not look as old as I am. Being my mate if you choose to stay with me your aging will slow down too. We are fated by the moon goddess only she knows the reason behind why she chose me for you. "

"They are right. I'm robbing the cradle with you but I can't help myself. A wolf usually stays at home or goes to another clan until age twenty-one and then they have options. A mated pair can be together then. It's very difficult when the mate bond is discovered early. The older wolf is in a constant state of need for the mate until he or she is at an age to allow them to bond sexually. Physical bonding without sex happens with supervision if the older wolf is having too much difficulty. But then, both wolves suffer once the younger wolf feels the pull. A wolf's sexuality begins at around sixteen. It is frowned upon in the human world and in ours for an old man to have sex with a young teen

I answered, then straightened his hair and continued to massage his scalp. "Were you close to them?" "Maybe. I was younger then." He nodded. "How old are you now?" "Probably the same age as you." I said, taking a guess. "You're twenty wolf age, right?" He laughed. "My wolf is twenty for sure. But he's an old soul. I am two or three years older, depending on how you count it." "I am twenty one. My wolf is eighteen." "Your wolf is pretty young. Will my wolf like that?"

I raised an eyebrow, perfectly composed. "Yesterday, I told you my son's name was Koda." "But I never once — not a single time — told you my son was a wolf." Daisy, still on her knees, had gone rigid. The fake tears on her face had given way to sheer terror. She stammered out a question. "You said yesterday that your son had just come of age!" A short, dry laugh escaped me. "Dogs reach full maturity at two years old." "When I said he'd just come of age, I was talking about canine maturity."

“Did you notice the ages?” “Yeah.” The oldest wolf they had ever rescued was 22 and he was damn near feral according to the article. “I think once they found out the older wolves were more work, they started focusing on saving the younger ones only.” He didn’t blame them for that. Saving the child wolves from the trauma was just as important as saving the older ones.

"You are about six centuries old now." Damon clicked his tongue. He didn't feel a century. Hell, he didn't feel Twenty-five years measured according to human aging process. The last time he remembered looking into a mirror, he had no wrinkles or sagging flesh... Wolves were built that way. Not only did his specie live long, they stayed fresh and glowing throughout their lifetime.

While I was going to be the only consistent volunteer, she did in fact have a few reliable people that came by on their free days. "About thirty-five. We don't enforce pack education, because some of our members are more comfortable with the old method of learning. The pups we have here are traditionally between the ages of four to seven." She answered, pushing a random toy on the floor out of our way as we walked. "Most of the pups we teach here aren't usually from our pack, actually." She added. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion, "What do you mean?"

Kohn says as the noises get louder. Suddenly the underbrush erupts with fur-covered bodies running on four legs, but when they get close to Kohn, they stand up like the adult beasts I have seen. Their colors range, as do their sizes. Some are bulky and tall, while others don't even come to my chest. Kohn growls a little as one of the bigger ones seems to spot me. "Right now, he is their leader...he is the oldest at eight years old," Kohn explains as the sandy-colored wolf kid circles us.
