They cried out loud and April couldn't help but roll her eyes, she found them extremely dramatic. "Where is the bride?." Mateo repeated himself, his voice now dangerously low. "She's missing." April intervened when she saw how terribly scared the maids were, she doubted they would be able to form words to reply him. "And who are you?" Mateo turned, just taking notice of her for the first time. "I'm April, the wedding planner." April gave him her usual formal smile and stretched her hands forward for a handshake but when she saw that he wasn't making any attempt on returning the gesture, she coughed awkwardly and withdrew her hand.

However, Mikhail's face remained stoic, his anger simmering beneath the surface as he struggled to maintain a neutral expression. Ronan Marino stood up, a charming smile on his face. "It is with great honor and pleasure to introduce to you the future Bratva's bride, Donatella De Luca." He walked towards the door, opening it with a flourish. "What is the meaning of this, Damon? Annie, why are you sobbing?" Cassandra seized the opportunity. She pointed at the pizza I mistakenly spilled on the floor. "Look, Mrs. Scarlett! The one still dripping with blood from where I'd punched the wall but stopped herself midway, hesitation flickering in her eyes. "We can't do this if you're going to doubt me like this. Sobbing with joy and reddening her eyes, Donatello walked in and saw the scene, his brain swelling, had Mr Martino upset the lady again? His eyes dart around like he’s trying to find the right words. “I saw her down the hallway with Porcellina.” “Porcellina?” I bark, confused for a second. “Who the fuck is Porcellina?” I narrow my eyes, barely holding my temper. Donatello clears his throat, then hesitates. “Oh, she's one of Madre Padrina’s maidens, boss. Helps with trimming flowers, preparing meals, you know, that shit.”
