Most of the patrols are only 3 people total but now that we will have more wolves available we will be increasing the size of the patrols as well as the frequency of them. I was about to be mauled to death. "It's okay..." I say tensely. My body trembling with fright. "Here, you can have him back. You see I was protecting him. There was an eagle and it was going to get him but he's okay. See, you're welcome..." Slowly but surely I put Poppy back onto the floor and it padded towards his mother. Yet, the mother still growled. I backed up... "Where is Paw Patrol when you need em'." The dog barked, hard and loud, and I didn't grasp the level of stupid I am until that very moment when I pointed at the dog and yelled, "Bad dog!"

He wasn't a member of their pack so maybe he's a member of another pack but what's he doing in their territory? Patrick pulls his attention as he howls at him. He walked towards him growling, hitting his Chest as Patrick also hit his own too. Seems like he's about to attack him. He steady his fist on the ground as he heard his running footstep . Patrick also ran to attack him as they fought each other before finally stopping. Patrick crawled back to their territory while he found his way out.

Another wolf snapped at my tail and I felt a few hairs pull free with a twinge of pain. I had to shake them but they were too close! Howls echoed through the woods behind us and howls ahead of us answered. A patrol! Just my luck a patrol would be near enough to intercept us. We had to be nearing the edge of the Shaded Paws territory but that alone wouldn't be enough to save us.

She could feel the frozen snow and undergrowth on the soles of her feet and yet her steps were fleeting and light as if she were floating. Only it wasn't her feet. She had paws. Four giant paws that danced across the snow. Her nose picked up the scent of freezing air, wet earth and a bobcat that had passed this way hours before. Her maw opened to drag air into her heaving lungs as her canines peeked out from her jaw.

“We let the council handle it.” “And if the council doesn’t?” Mara asked. Luna didn’t have an answer. --- Day fifty-six, the first joint patrol happened. Not by choice. By council order. Two Red Fang wolves, two River Claw wolves, one council observer. They walked the line for six hours. No one spoke for the first four. On the fifth hour, a River Claw wolf pointed out a snare that had been set wrong. A Red Fang wolf fixed it. No words exchanged. But it was something.

“I don't like it when you're always right. We will finish this in the morning.” He picked my lips and stood up, wearing his shoes. He gave me one last wink and walked out. I never thought that I would find happiness until now. Shaw's POV It has been some time since I started patrolling and we divided ourselves around the pack grounds, so that we can cover more ground. I chose to go on my own and pair the rest. I walked all over and before long I started hearing voices. It sounded like a male and a female were talking. I inched closer because it was at a part of the pack that was quite lonely. It seems to be an altercation.

I don’t really understand what it is because almost half of his explanation was in the form of sound effects but it doesn’t really matter because he seems satisfied with me just flying around making the occasional airplane noise. A few minutes later Maddy and Charlie come in to the room and says, “Ah, I see you’ve been introduced to Paw Patrol. Careful, he’ll suck you into that for hours.” “Oh good, can’t wait.” “She’s being Skye!” Seth says excitedly. “He must like you. Skye is his favourite,” she says with a wink. “Oh wow, I’m honoured,” I say with a grin. At that moment, the front door opens and a woman, who I assume is Maddy’s mom walks in saying, “Who’s car is in front of our house?”

It's a couple of hours before lunch, so I head downstairs with my mates in tow. On the back patio, I see the pups gathered in groups or playing in the playground behind the house. I approach some of the older ones and ask which packs they belong to. I learn they are from the Cold Mountain Pack, Emerald Lands Pack, and Green Forest Pack. Once everyone finishes eating, I ask them to gather around. As they stand before me on the back porch, I raise my hands to quiet them.

I told him. “Sound like a good plan to me. A few of the patrols did let me know that they have seen an increase in those giant ass paw prints. I am not sure why they would be popping up this much and why now. They have also noticed some weird activity associated with the land next to ours.” Nash said.
