Poppy was starting to get antsy. She hadn’t had a whole lot of time to herself, nor a whole lot of time alone with Malcom. When she wasn’t training with Raphe, she was planning the mating ceremony with Myrna and Melissa, who were becoming thick as thieves in their mission to make Poppy fashionable. And when she wasn’t with Myrna and Melissa, she was with her therapist, Dr. Fiona Fergus. She was always with someone except at night. Then she was alone, unless Malcom joined her. But recently, it almost seemed that he was avoiding her.

Then, I went to the bed and sat my butt down since I needed to slip into my black heel too. Within ten minutes, I was prepared and I stood to my feet. Meanwhile, Poppy strides to the door and she opened the door for me. "You better be careful and don't get caught, okay?" She said, wishing me good luck while I approach her at the door. "Certainly!" I smirked naughtily, and I playfully slapped her arm. "Ouch!" She feigned a cry while I walked out of my room, and took the long stairs. Entering the living room, I met father Mr. Robertson sitting on the sofa while reading the newspapers.

"Okay, well, what does your child look like?" I pulled out my phone and went through my photo gallery. I hand the device to Pete, showing him the latest picture of Poppy and me at Odin's hotel resort before Sully kidnaps her. "She is quite a cutie," Pete shifts his eyes up and then back, repeating the gesture. "She looks like you." "Yeah," smiling proudly. "Aw, I can see the mother and daughter bond here. So precious," he hands me back the phone. "Okay, I got the whole night to create a face."

After sharing affection with Evander yesterday, Poppy’s body felt lighter when she opened her eyes this morning. “Evan, wake up!” Poppy shook Evander’s body a few times. “Can’t you let me sleep a little longer?” Evander’s hand reached out to hug Poppy’s waist again. Poppy rolled her eyes lazily. Not wanting to let Evander go just like that, Poppy shook his body again, this time with more force. “Hey, the assault unit members are about to leave. We have to hurry to catch up with them; otherwise, we won’t be able to enter the base,” Poppy said again.

Every night, Alexa and Chris communicated and with the news she was hearing, Alexa realized how close to death she was and it scared her. Clues, Chris had asked for clues that could help them but she didn't know what to tell him...till now. She remembered the day before when Morty was telling her how much he enjoyed playing on the merry go round, or as he called it, the round swing and there's only one playground with that ride in their area, Tim's playground. No one was ever as stunning as Poppy. If what Madison said was true, Drayce and Poppy were my mates. The idea of keeping both forever appealed to me. Being able to talk to them, touch them, hold them. Seeing Poppy carry my children. Drayce helping with midnight feedings. He loved children. All of it was like a dream. A fantasy I wanted to make into reality. “Everything’s alright, princess. He’s gone. Were you afraid?” I murmured. “I wanted to kick his ass for scaring Dray and making you worry. Are you alright, my Vasili? He didn’t harm you, right? Where’s Dray? Is he safe?” Poppy asked.

He raises an eyebrow at us, challenging. “I could get Poppy if I wanted,” he states. “Get me to do what?” Poppy suddenly steps into the living room wearing sweatpants and a hoodie, her long auburn hair tied into a ponytail, with her glasses on, looking like the cutest thing on the planet. Her infectious energy can be felt as soon as she walks in, looking at us with an amused look on her face.

Every person who had underestimated me. I smiled, a cold, dangerous smile. They won’t see me coming. And then my phone buzzed, an unknown number. “Tonight, the first move begins,” a text read. I looked up, heart racing. The city lights outside reflected in my window, painting streaks of red and gold. Adrian was right. This was war. And I was already in it. The thought made my pulse race, fear, excitement, and something else I didn’t dare name. I was no longer just Nora Vaughn, the obedient daughter. I was a player. And Adrian Cole… he was both my ally and my storm.

"Oh my god baby, seriously you entertained me so much today! Come on be brave. We're doing this, move your macho ass, to that lovely pretty pink cupcake place." He was groaning in annoyance. But follow me to the cupcake place. "Payback is a bitch Addie, and you're going down tonight." I looked at him winking. "We will see about that, I'm thinking of more plays for tonight. We will step up the game sexily of course. I won't have all the fun." I kissed his lips while cupping his ass making him groaned and opened his mouth. While I was quickly slipped my tongue to his mouth, and sucked the life out of him, until we were both panting in ecstasy.
