"I'm not really they're uncle." I watch as shoulders suddenly drop. One of the oldest twins steps forward and gives me a short salute and an eye roll towards Ashrac. "We like to call him uncle because it bugs him. Name's Drayce of the Purple Dragon Clan. We're twelve. This is my brother Ejder of the Purple Dragon Clan." They are both tall and lean with a lot of growing to do, but you can see they'll be the size of Ashrac before long. Both girls dutifully step forward next. They begin at the same time, stop, and then the one on the right speaks. "I'm Zara of the Purple Dragon Clan and this is-"

Draco continued his pacing without answering. “Draco!” Mitch growled. “WHAT. IS. IT?” Draco stopped, startled like he was just knowing that Mitch was in the room. He turned and looked at Mitch. “I need a fucking drink.” He muttered and that only alarmed Mitch even more. For one, Draco was always calmheaded and he never cursed, and he never drank any earlier than 11 a.m. “No drinks,” Mitch ordered. Draco sighed and collapsed on a couch. “Are you going to tell me what if=s going on? Or are you going to continue being a trainwreck?”

David ducks and quickly enter the Draco’s reach. The Draco quickly turns its neck to the side, letting go of Elizabeth. Her body flies to the ground while the Draco quickly turns back with fire in its mouth. Without a second to waste, the Draco releases fire in front of it. David, who was close to the Draco, slides downward, narrowly avoiding the Draco’s fiery breath. The Draco moves and tries to catch David with its soul-powered fire breath. As David slides, he grabs the steel knife and pulls it out, causing the Draco to growl in pain. Now used to his missing left limb, David quickly rolls forward and stands up with the dagger in his right hand. He quickly stored the stones in his bag.

I thought maybe something was wrong with the amulet, this explains it. “Draco was clear that we are to wait,” the stupid chief witch jumps in. I hate her. She terrorized me when I was a nobody here. “Draco is your leader now?” I ask, intentionally getting her in trouble. Draco is the most powerful wizard. He is the leader of the north hemisphere. Arrogant and pure evil. My master does not get along with him. “I…I…” she trembles when master shots her a deadly stare. “I will get everyone ready,” she adds and runs off. Pathetic coward.

He didn’t care that he was standing stark naked in front of his gathering family, all he cared about was that Madchen accepted him for what he was, a dragon who had found his mate. Madchen on the other hand, was mesmerized by her handsome dark suitor, who claimed he loved her. Maybe dragons were more passionate than humans ever dreamed, and maybe she had fallen under his magical spell, and she was hopelessly smitten by this magical being who wrapped her protectively in his shiny onyx wings. “I see she didn’t get far,” Madchen pulled away from Drago’s arms, to find Nick standing there, shiny crimson wings unfolded from his back. He was shirtless, but at least he had shorts on.

“Of course not my King.” “Explain then why my dragon is feeling enamored of Miss Grey here, that something is shutting my dragon out, wanting to stay hidden.” “My King, my sister’s dragoness is naturally shy.” “Her what?” His rough voice echoed around the room as his eyes flashed yellow in disbelief. “My sister has merged with her dragoness.” “Impossible!” Sorin was playing his role excellently. “Scylla …” My voice was soft and coaxing. Scylla was a wild card in this whole plan because it would all go to shit if she lashed out at him.

Tessa pleaded, looking at her parents. James grew restless, his anger building. Draco! That is his suspect, no one is as close to him anywhere except Draco. He has to be the one to perform such trick on him. What's his deal with his family anyways? Even if Kiera had tried to poke into their secret, she had stopped and there has not been any issues since then. Even if he tried to harm his family, Tessa should not be his target, she's only a child!

war room(considering the maps on the walls and on the large table), along with the Fae Lord, Evander, Zephyros, the seven others and four faces I'd never seen before, where we waited for more than half an hour for the four High Lords and a few more people. As soon as the room was filled up and every seat at the table was filled up, I was bombarded with questions. How I knew 'the Draekein', how I could streak when no one else could, how I used my ice when there was an obvious case of Faebane, did I plan with the mortal queen, how did the Draekein get past the wards, did I weaken the wards, was I a spy from the other side, what was the next plan the mortal queen had in mind,...... Questions! M

“My apologies on Drake’s behalf. We meant no offense. He’s just on edge since our mates have gone to help their sister prepare for the upcoming birth of her offspring.” Lucian’s hand moved down my back, resting between my shoulder blades. A longing filled me that wasn’t my own. “I can understand the worry. Is she a shifter as well?” he asked. “Succubus and dragon, though her dragon has yet to wake.” “My congratulations on the new additions. I hope her dragon wakes soon after her offspring's birth.” Lucian said and I felt some of the tension leave him. The longing was still there. He wanted that, longed for it with every part of his being.

As she looked closer, she realized she was searching for a sapphire-blue dragon, but the closest was a sky-blue dragon much too large to be her attacker. Slightly less on edge now, she watched the dragons interact, clashing and dipping with such grace and elegance that it was more like a dance than maneuvers of life and death. She was mesmerized by the emerald dragon in the center of it all, instantly recognizing Cameron. His brother was also green, but he was a slightly different shade. Ian was more of a sea-green than emerald, and though he was striking, she didn’t think he was nearly as beautiful as her dragon.
