Dragon Hunt Book Novels & Stories

She was determined to tell the story in chronological order and jumping ahead to admit Jim was a vampire just wouldn’t do. Lizzy showed great interest when Chloe told of Tristan’s dreaming of her and how he went so far as to profess loving her. She asked quite a few questions about the atmosphere and conditions of inner-earth, as well as the occupants. Discovering that Tristan’s people were able to turn into dragons didn’t seem to faze her in the least. In fact, it pleased her.

It rustled its wing and she saw a large wound in its side and a tear through the thin membrane of its wing. "Will you please let me help you?" she asked again and pulled out her healer's kit. It snorted at her again but held it's wing aloft. Her heart racing, she stepped forward. She had never seen a dragon in the flesh before, but she had studied its anatomy from her grandmother's books. The heat that rolled off of the creature was incredible. Sweat began to prick at her brow and being in such close proximity to it chased away any lingering chill from earlier. The wound was raw and ragged; it looked as if it had been hit with a cannon. The edges were blackened. Saffron delicately rubbed awa

Hence, it was not a living thing. Roar, roar, roar! The Dragon’s terrain let out another draconic roar at this point. Tyr’s body became extremely restless without him even realizing what was going on. His blood was boiling inside him. The next second he knew, a golden halo erupted from his body. Soon, some strange golden runes surrounded him. “Tyr, what’s the matter with you?” Seeing this scene, the others on the side were all stunned. “It’s the book of the Song of the Empire!”

It was a sound that hadn't been heard in the halls of Hawke Tower in a decade. Outside, the dragonfly drone that had been observing them from the trees flickered one last time, its battery dying, its "Dragonfly Protocol" finally timed out. The "message in the dust" was complete. The book was closed. But the story was just beginning.

“Master, what would you like us to do? You need only whisper your command, and we will follow.” Evrah grabbed the wood harder, her gaze darting quickly from left to right, trying to get a closer look. She spotted a big shimmering black dragon that seemed to be looking right at her. The big eye blinked, its big frame fidgeting a bit. A huge black and silver mass of scales and muscles sat directly across from her, its ginormous purple eyes had her dead to rites, and they both knew it. “Please don't give me way,” she whispered, shaking from fear. She cursed that her curiosity had gotten her noticed. The dragon blinked a final time and averted its eyes somewhere else as if it had heard her whisp

My expectations of hefty magic tomes full of spells were quickly dashed. Laney’s idea of books was limited to fairy tales about princesses and knights and, of course, magic. Not exactly what I had in mind. As far as she was concerned, if it didn’t interest her, it didn’t exist. “This one’s really good,” she informed me, holding up a thin novel called Loved By Two Dragons. “He’s a dragon, but he’s also a handsome boy. But his brother’s even more handsome, and he’s an even bigger dragon!”

She said after, “Well, I'm not actually a huntress...” I groaned and look at the window that view that Yellow-Mountain. I pointed it for reference, not minding the nonsene in her words, “That mountain is filled with the fire element. Do you really think a Lycan live there?” She gasped, slowly shook her head in shock. She said, “Of course none. Is young lady not know the Lycan dread the people in that Mountain?” “What?” I arc my brows. “How can the lycan dread the mere army of...” I cough and sigh. “Let's not talk about that mountain and that spieces!”

At least if he couldn't help himself, helping her find a group would give him relief that they were people to watch her back. Drake fell silent as he thought of a better way. He was looking around the cell when his eyes fell on the book from before and an idea came to mind. “Hold on princess, If I remember correctly, I think there might be a ritual in that book that could help us identify dragon blood” he said as he got up and grabbed the book. “Really? That would be great. It would save us a lot of trouble” Elaina replied eagerly. If there was a better way, she was more than willing to give it a try.

I wake up and notice Taran is gone. Letting out a sigh, I slowly get out of bed. At least I didn’t have any nightmares. Not knowing what else to do, I begin looking through dragon folklore. Though Taran and I have gone over things many times, I can’t help feeling like we are missing something. My searching doesn’t uncover anything new, so I look at one of the books Taran brought when flying me home. The book has spells and summarizes who, why, and when about the spells. I look at the summaries and find a name that sounds familiar. “Lyse Galno”

I quickly head out to the next shelf. I don’t know how much time has passed, but I feel exhausted. Drake plops into one of the armchairs before the fireplace, yawning. “I covered thirty shelves, and there’s no book on celestial wolves. This is not a library. It's a book town!” He rests his chin on his arm. “It's so huge that I might find aliens hiding somewhere.” “Stop with the excuses. You are just incapable, that’s all,” Dory says while biting her thumbnail, her eyes trained on the book she’s holding.
