Dragon Hunt Book Novels & Stories

I whispered again. “Angel, you see? It’s nothing. Just relax. It’s just a book playing with your emotions.” I closed the book and placed it on the table, turning it to the back cover. My heartbeat picked up again. Then— I froze. There. A symbol. Small. Barely noticeable. At the back of the book. A dragon. My breath caught. It looked exactly like the one on Drake’s back. Not similar. Not close. The same. I froze. Fear settling deep into my chest.

When we were kids, she used to get us into all kinds of trouble and I would always get blamed for it because once she flashed those big blue eyes, no one could accuse her of any wrongdoing. “To do it more often?” I laughed, thankful for the comic relief. Despite my bravado and earlier reassurances to Devon, I was still nervous. As he said, I did not like to kill animals. Werewolves were actually peaceful creatures and we didn’t hunt other animals asides from the Grant Hunt and the wolves who did it for sport. It wasn’t banned or anything so they were in their rights. It just wasn’t something I liked doing. For this reason, I was nervous. Plus, the Alpha’s arrogant son, Louis was participatin

As the realization that this massive dragon was most likely Murdok Rori grabbed onto the claw still holding her, and she opened her mouth to speak when the sound of Henry’s laughter pulled her attention away. The book was now floating above his hand and as he chanted Rori watched as translucent, almost glowing bones formed into an armor around him and Rori gasped. Henry pointed his hand toward the massive dragon and a zap of lightning shot from his palm straight into the shoulder of the dragon, causing Murdok to scream in pain, but he did not loosen his grasp on Rori. Henry fired a few more bolts that all hit Murdok and Rori couldn’t stand by and watch her stepfather kill the man that saved

The arrow transformed into a blur of vibrating energy, like a spiraling comet cutting through the air with precision and grace. Caleb spun on his heels, his instincts screaming for movement, for escape. The forest becoming a blur as he propelled himself off the beaten path, each step Caleb took was fueled by adrenaline and the urgent need to distance himself from the creature. Brisk air whipped past him, sending a cool caress against his heated skin as the frantic thuds of his footsteps mingled with the distant sounds of the wolf’s.

He brought him somewhere unknown and he growled and ran towards the Cave, in his head he was chanting for their mate. Adrian entered the cave in hurry and finally saw Elysian, laying on top of a werewolf, getting raped brutally by five men on the floor. A loud growl snapped the five men, they quickly pulled away from the unconscious figure of Elysian and looked at Adrain in fear, the wolves freaked out to see a huge dragon glaring at them, how the fuck there was a dragon here?! While the three wolves knew they will die that day. No one should mess with Adrian, as they have witnessed the death itself, for they have met the legend they have only heard the stories about. The dragon.

Freeze says. He takes the book off my desk and starts flipping through it. He finally stops on the dragon he is looking for. He flips the book around and places it down in front of me. My eyes were about pop out of my head. I start reading the description that it gives, and Freeze is right. It describes her almost perfectly. “How would this be possible? That dragon is just a myth.” I asked.

She saw the red dragon soaring down for another attack when she suddenly transformed into her phoenix and broke through the wall. Fueled by anger, the Phoenix flew directly into the red dragon, slicing his neck open. He tried to sink his teeth into her, and she kicked him with both feet. He quickly sunk his talon into her thigh, and she screeched in pain. The dragon hit her in the head with his powerful tail and knocked her out. Cyrus had her now, and he took off with her in his talons.

Dojo reeked slaughter, copper-thick, tatami slick crimson pools, our chests heaving thunder-sync, indigo hakamas spattered gore. "You fight like you're born to it," he growled, scarred jaw inches, porcelain fingers banding my wrist pull-close, obsidian devouring mahogany flush. Blood smeared his cheek war-paint, dragon tattoo pulsing throat wild. No fear in his stillness—predator sated, but gaze burned deeper hunger.

I knew, the moment I laid eyes on her again, that something had been awoken within her. I don’t know if I’m concerned, excited or kind of numb by the realisation, but I do know that I read about those traits in one place, and one place only. The Dragon Chronicles, or ‘pamphlet’ as Gabe called it, and now the name has stuck. Gabe and Hunter will never be trusted to name anything, because the names they give most things are either dripping with sarcasm or unnecessarily vulgar.

"How do you even know about the great book?" Sighing, Luca moved towards the back of the cave. Leaning against the rocky wall, he frowned. "After you were infected with the poison, by all rules you should've died..." Gazing at the fire he continued. "The great book had a connection with you, the same way you do with other Dragons. Before the poison could take your life completely, the Great Book sent her last energy to you..." Snapping his gaze back to me, his face hardened. "She has chosen you to have her energy, to live on in her name and help other riders... To be the saviour of the Dragons."
