It's with a heavy mind that Chasing Shifters will be going to a 2x a wk updating. Life has gotten much busier for me and as of now, and I can only do updates 2 days a wk. so look out for new episodes on Weds and Sats. This change will go into effect this wk. I let her know that a plan was in the mix and she already had a room picked out for Freya and her great-grandson, she was excited and couldn't wait. Not many wolves would dare do such a thing, however felines are often very sly creatures with no fear, or respect for that matter, he says, disgust evident in his voice. It was fairly old, with leather bindings and worn out edges. I open it up and flip through the yellowing pages. It was a book on all the creatures discovered. I read through each type of shifter, their strengths and weaknesses, in the hope that whatever this female is, I will be able to easily break her.

The walls are covered floor to ceiling with bookcases filled with books about all sorts of different creatures from around the world. "I bet we can find out what kind of creature your mate is in one of these books," Ryder says. Excitement bubbles inside me as I start scanning the titles. There are books about dragons, unicorns, and even books about creatures I've never even heard of before. I make my way down one of the aisles, running my fingers over the spines of the books until I come across one that catches my eye. It's called "Shapeshifters: A Comprehensive Guide."

Fenrir spoke, diverting my attention. “That was fast.” I spoke. “Of course, I’m actually useful.” He spoke, giving Damon a death glare. “I’m listening.” I said. “When you mentioned the entity being a shadow or rather a dark shadow that granted wishes in exchange for souls I thought that sounded familiar—anciently familiar.” He pulled out a book, “Hey, librarian, know about this?” The book was old, with the back pages already peeling off. It read in bold, vintage font, “Elemental Werewolves: The Curse of The Dragon.”

Carson was a primordial of his race and Vince suspected that he is connected to the elemental race too but everything was vague. The shifter on the other hand was a different ball game. Wolves rule because they are numerous in number. more than the bears, dragons and panther shifters put together so for the sake of peace. The dragons gave up their right to rule and remain in the shadows living their lives but if they discover the troubles of the shifters, they would want to rule and that will lead to a war which will make the shifter race to be extinct.

Metal-pale and tanned in flickers of lights. I stared in horror. Kieran shoved me backward. "Run!" Tyra leaped. The fight erupted… Metal clashed with claws, and light flashed as weapons discharged. "Get them to the ravine!" Shadows were pouring into the main entrance. Massive, hulking shapes with eyes like burning coals. Thorne's vanguard. A wolf the size of a bear, with grey matted fur, lunged at a young male near the fire pit. Jaws snapped, and blood sprayed across the stone floor. I didn't think. I shifted. The pain was a dull roar now, familiar and quick. My bones cracked and reshaped in seconds. I hit the ground on four paws, the silver wolf taking control.
