I say. “I have heard the term elder dragon but I am not quite sure what being one entails if you do not mind me asking,” Gregory questions. “A dragon receives the term of elder once they live for ten thousand years. The older a dragon is the stronger they become elder dragons are the strongest,” I explain. “There is a lot you could learn from a person that old,” Gregory comments. “Yes, I could it is too bad my father no longer allows grandfather to come to the horde,” I say sadly.

he asks, now removing his hands from my thighs and placing them on the table instead as he leans over me. I frown. “I think I was around eight when I heard that a Dragon King had risen in the east. A species that we were certain had died out long ago.” “We never died out, but we were weakened after a war with one another and had gone into hiding to regain power for a few centuries.” My eyes widen. “And how old are you?” “I am three hundred years older than you, Wolf Princess.” My eyes widen as I stare at him. “I see…”

Characters: Bryson – Alpha of the Thunderstorm Pack (22 years old) Dante and Talon – Youngest two of the dragon triplets and sons of Rhys and Aaron (21 years old) Third Person POV “Look how the mighty have fallen,” the dragon brothers sneered, their tone dripping with sarcasm and irony as Dante and Talon hovered over the bloodied figure of the Great Commander of the Secret Forces. The battlefield reeked of ash, torn leather and the metallic sting of death. And at the center of it, half-submerged in his own blood, lay Bryson — Alpha, legend, war-born heir of the Thunderstorm Pack.

In that time period, their wealth can multiply beyond comparison and outpace even the prices of their hoards. Grace looked at the hammer Graham is carrying and a smirk lifted at her lips. 'Thank God this farse ends today. I am tired of acting like an old woman double my age' she thought with satisfaction. Raisel folded her arms deep in thought, “Dare I ask, how old are you?” He thought about it for a moment, “Somewhere around a hundred and more”, he answered with a shrug. “Oh!”, she exclaimed in genuine surprise. “Dragons live for longer than they look. They don’t age quickly”, he explained. She nodded in understanding, taking a short moment to process the information, “So what are we doing here again?” “Looking for the portal” “And how do you find that…”, before she could complete her statement, he was already groping for thin air, like he was trying to reach for something, “Oh…okay”, she watched him for a while, “Any luck with that?”

She nodded, trying to guess the direction of their current conversation. “They are all real. And wait, I know what you think right now. You may think this is strange, but they are all real. For example, the me who is in front of you right now. I'm a werewolf, and so is Bianca who is a vampire.” "Wolf? Vampire?” “Then my friend who you will meet soon is a dragon. I didn't want to choose between anyone. "How sure are you that's what he wants?" Hex glared at me, which told me everything I needed to know. "Why would he wait until this age to resurface? I'm in my late twenties—," "Time goes by differently for supernaturals. Especially dragons, they can live for hundreds of years. These few years mean nothing to them." "I want to leave," I whispered, lowering my gaze to my hands.

My stomach is growling demanding food. “Alright we can continue this first thing in the morning,” dad looks at us sternly. “Do not be late.” Dad then tosses a very old book at me. “What’s this,” I ask. “That book holds the history of all the realms. What creatures live where, details about each creature and what powers they possess. I want you to specifically read about the dragons. There are six types of dragons aside from the silver dragons and they all have different powers.” Dad then tossed a binder at Owen. “That is a copy of the book but only has the dragon information. You need to read up too. I expect you both to read about each of the dragons and what powers they possess. You’ll nee
