"I didn't expect Eastern Sea City to have a ninth-grade herb!" Ninth-grade herbs were hard to come by, and countless supreme paragons would be willing to break their heads over them. Even with the Dragonoid's wealth spanning the Four Seas and its profound heritage, there weren't many ninth-grade spiritual herbs in their treasury.

The ground shakes beneath us, and I move to hold onto Demi, so she doesn’t fall. My father’s dragon roars, and fire erupts from his giant mouth. I grab Demi and push her to the left as Drake moves to the right, narrowly escaping the flame.

Her hands were clenched at her sides, her dark red nails trembling faintly as she fought to contain her anger. Opposite her, Dragon leaned casually against an antique wooden desk, his cold gray eyes gleaming with cunning. He wore a black shirt with the top buttons undone, revealing a glimpse of his tattooed chest, and dark trousers complemented by a leather belt with a gleaming silver buckle. His silver watch caught the faint light, and his tousled black hair gave him an air of unrestrained danger. "Enough, Dragon!" Jenny exclaimed, her voice choked as her luminous eyes radiated fury. "Can't you stop your ridiculous games for just one moment?!"

New changes needed to be made and maybe this could one of them. Drake knew this new change, mixing the wolves and dragons, was dangerous. They both knew, but to live apart? It was too much. The new pack house would house both dragons and wolves with their bedroom on the upper floor. They would have to be careful of conflicts later on. Dragons and wolves had rival tempers.

A knock on the door made me move the quilt lower to ask who it was. "High Lord Tymon has asked that I bear food and fruits to you, my Lady." A tiny voice came from the other side of the door. Drakes. A type of dragon that is smaller in size and cannot fly. Drakes are considered a lower class dragon due to their traits, including their lesser strength as well. Even so, they are still dragons and are incredibly powerful compared to the common species. Even the lowest of them are at least B class monsters. Earth drakes, in particular, have much a tankier build with larger body mass.
