Hours before the red moon rose… her parents knew. --- Mark Moon stood by the window, hands in his pockets, watching the clouds roll in. Rain tapped gently against the glass, but his focus wasn’t on the weather. He had seen this sky before—years ago, when he was still a soldier in the Eastern Reaches. Back then, the color of the clouds had warned of war. Now, it meant something worse. Behind him, Evelyn sat on the couch, a heavy leather box on her lap. Her fingers hovered over the brass clasp. She hadn’t opened it in seventeen years. Not since the day they found the girl.

-No one is here, Moon. An invisible force pulled me by my feet dragging me out of my hiding place. Luna ordered her partner to blindfold me, she obeyed and everything became silent. I could feel them taking me to a place. When they took off the blindfold, I was bound hand and foot inside a red circle.

Mythi hugs me to comfort me. “Unnie. Blue is just doing his job. Oppa is still his senior.” She says to calm me down. “But I want to surprise oppa.” I say while pouting. “I want to surprise him too, unnie. But Blue is right. Oppa needs to know.” Mythi continues. I sigh. “What can I do now? Blue is already talking to him.” “Black Dragon.” Blue says over the phone and looks at us. “No, there’s no problem. Your sisters are safe and sound.”

Megan frowned at KuLaa reproachfully. “You have misunderstood. The journey this time is just for a few months. We should be back within 8 months if everything goes well. Thereafter, depending on what happens there, we will now make a move on the Blue Moon.” “Making a move on the Blue Moon? What do you mean?” Megan had thought that KuLaa and Kurt wanted to resume their adventures searching for a way out of the Eplica continent, but it seemed she was completely out of the loop. “We are going to war, Megan. Kurt and I are declaring war on Blue Moon.”

the blonde reporter said. At the corner of the screen, there was an image of a lady whose eyes were blurred out. In one frame, her face was very smooth and beautiful, tagged before using the BlueMoon skincare product, while in the second image, her face was burnt—charcoal dark, like something forgotten on a stovetop—and it was tagged after using BlueMoon skincare products.

My pack and this continent almost perished when Xena ran away, but this can’t real. “Who is Draco?” I ask when they all nod. Those witches said something about listening to Draco. Their eyes widen at that. This can’t be good. “He is the ruthless leader of the deep. He will be undefeated, and this universe will be doomed if he gets hold of the quadpod powers.” All I hear in that sentence is that Xena is in grave danger. What the fuck was I thinking rejecting her? “How do we defeat him?”

She willed her mind to go forward and immediately her vision slid along the length of the coil, gaining speed as it went. She moved so quickly along the glowing coil that everything around her flew by in flashes and streaks of color. The flowing colors came to an abrupt halt as she reached the end of the coil. The sky was a deep navy blue as if the sun had not yet risen above the horizon. Cole stood on a ladder at the roof of his house. Several tools were scattered across the roof and he held a hammer in his left hand while he sucked on his right thumb with his eyes closed and his face contorted in pain.

[Eleanor’s POV] I watched Lorenzo carefully take apart the ring box for the second time. He took out the flash drive and pulled it directly into his laptop. He and I huddled in close to glance down at the screen, waiting. Suddenly, a dark blue, familiar logo popped up. It was the infamous emblem of the Blue Moon Pack. A few seconds later, several other small windows began popping up on the screen. A terrifying thought came rushing through my mind—my God, what if the flash drive was defective?

Lo and behold, a small diamond shaped locket attached to a golden neck chain which seemed to be very expensive laid peacefully in a small pouch inside the briefcase. Chief Williamson carefully picked up the neck chain and pressed down the small knob on top of the golden colored locket, the locket slowly opened accompanied with a small soft tune playing. And in it sat the prestigious Blue Moon Diamond. Williamson brew a soft sigh of relief after being assured that the diamond was still in his possession. Luckily for him, he still had some time to hide the diamond in a safe place, away from the evil eyes that preyed and dangerously pursued the rare ornament.
