The OutCasts

The OutCasts

Go fish," I say, smiling as QuickShot draws another card. JumpStart: As I walk back to my room, I look at my crafting table. Scattered all over my table are parts, all different shapes and sizes pulled from trashcans all over the city. I pull out my chair and drop onto it. Once down, I start building. Grabbing a gear, I place it against a second gear and start spinning them. With the two gears now linked, I place them on a piece of machinery.

Dear Ex, I'm More Than Your Plan B

Dear Ex, I'm More Than Your Plan B

“Not yet.” He nodded, accepting it. “Then I’ll wait. As long as it takes.” “You say that like it’s simple.” “It is,” he said. “Because I lost you once. I’m not making that mistake again.” Before she could respond, Eira ran back in with her drawing pad, insisting on showing off the sketch she’d been working on. It was crude and colorful. Three stick figures. One tall and dark haired. One with long brown hair. One small with a pink bow.

His sidepiece

His sidepiece

“You can't make such demands. I came here first.” “I never asked you to leave. I asked you to give me some privacy. No more talking.” I hissed. His try at a show of power was disgusting. I held the flowers close to my chest as I sat on an entirely different branch. I watched as he brought out a little note from his pockets, and alongside it was a crayon. I raised a brow, watching him. He brought out two other colors, and I watched him shade. His brows creased and his eyes trailed as he drew things. It seemed like he was drawing but the movement of his hands showed more of a coloring. Was he…shading?

Tears Of A Broken Omega

Tears Of A Broken Omega

He grabbed a blank sheet from my notebook and drew one single straight line across the center. “This is the reality,” he said. Then at one end of the line he wrote pack and at the other end, prey.

Resisting You

Resisting You

Darn! I decide to call back, this time for a video call, but the connection is interrupted. I wait for a moment, pacing back and forth, feeling my pulse quicken. Furthermore, I glance back at the drawing. Some details are still missing, but you can see a woman pulling a man out of an abyss.

Ex-Husband Forgot Ever Divorcing Me

Ex-Husband Forgot Ever Divorcing Me

Grip tight. He did not draw a house with a sun. He dragged a heavy line across the page, then another, until the paper looked more like a wall than a picture. I asked him what it was. He shrugged. His small shoulder moved once and then went still again. I pushed a basket of figures closer. A father. A mother. A child. A car. A bed. A dog. Ordinary pieces. He picked up the child figure and held it. He did not pick up the father.

he said, licking the cheese from his finger. I stared hard at him, shocked at what he'd just done. I've never imagined a day Connor would eat cheese from my lips, let alone me becoming his one and only. "Yeah, I remember." "Where is it?" I came out of my chair excitedly to know what it was. "I will lead you to it only if you wear this?" Connor went into his pocket and pulled out a black blindfold. I went around the kitchen counter and turned my back towards him, giving him the okay to put it on.

The Matchmaker who can see the red string of fate

The Matchmaker who can see the red string of fate

ALICE I flipped through the pages. The pencil in my hand snapped as my grip on it tighten. I did not bother getting myself another one. I can still draw using what's left of this five inch pencil. This flimsy little thing... is already enough. Just like his lingering image in my brain...is enough to draw his sketch.

Called by the Dragon

Called by the Dragon

Could Bastien feel it too, or just her? Anzi didn’t even bother sitting back down on the wooden bench before nudging the snout tip back into the egg with her thumb. The infant dragon chirp from inside, a disgruntled sound, but she continued to push it back until her nail was resting against the cracked opening in the shell. And then with a mighty crunch, she crushed the hole open and tore away a section of the hard encasement. When the pieces fell onto the table, she thought she could hear an icy clinking hidden in the clattering sounds, but she paid it no mind and tore open another section, then another until the shards were an uneven heap.

The plot is thrilling from the start and I had to pace myself to avoid reading through the night. I often wanted to dive into the characters' minds myself to punch some sense into them, proof of how perfectly Mana designed them. This book deserves a thousand stars, not the mere five GN allows.

That was one epic adventure. The world was rich, detailed, full of amazing characters, and the story drew me in its tight grip and never let me go. I am a true fan of this author, it's characters, and it's story line. This was a true experience.
