Dreamworld Escape

Dreamworld Escape

We would do that tonight if he wanted to. “Think of the Dreamworld as a living organism. People can go in and out of there without any problems as long as they behave the way that the world desires it to. It is hardwired into the world to desire it to remain hidden. It was a defense mechanism put in place once others began to covet it for its power. It sensed you as a threat because you were able to see it for what it truly was,” Dara explained. My eyebrows furrowed at that explanation. That did not entirely make sense though because I was not the only one who could see it and manipulate it.

The Alpha’s Dead Wife is Back

The Alpha’s Dead Wife is Back

Unconscious binding of others into the Dream State. "It’s not PTSD," Emily whispered. "It’s not trauma." She looked at the last line on the page. "The Oneiric is the natural predator of the Void-Walker. For while the Walker consumes magic, the Oneiric unmakes reality. A fully realized Sleeper can dream a god out of existence." Emily closed the book. Her hands were shaking. She wasn't broken. She wasn't weak. She wasn't just a human who couldn't handle a wolf’s world.

Nightmare

Nightmare

his voice jerked me back to reality. "hmm can I get your order"I said trying to sound confident, his voice sent me to planet zecury,I don't even know if it exists. "Two pot pies and one smoothie" he said back, with his eyes fixed on me. For the first time I saw genuine admiration and not the usual look of lust I was used to.

Denied by Destiny: Trapped in the Shadows of the Mate Bond

Denied by Destiny: Trapped in the Shadows of the Mate Bond

I kept waking in a cold sweat from seeing a hooded figure in the cave, tied with bloodied ropes…struggling to breathe…trembling with fear. My fucking mate. She was fighting for her life, and I couldn’t do a thing to help her. In the depravity of my dreams, I wake up somewhat grateful for them, even through the gut- wrenching pain of experiencing them. It meant she was still alive, it had to…the dreams were my self-conscious seeking her out. Hers, trying to call out to me. As dark as it was, I found myself needing the toxic dreams. I head downstairs, it was only 3am but I couldn’t bare to see my mate’s pain again, and that is

On the other hand, Hector didn’t grovel enough, I might be petty… After regaining her memories Kaia knew that Alora and Hector rejected one another, but if I’m not wrong she wasn’t actually made aware of this fact before loosing her memories, nor after.

I like that the general plot twists are unexpected , but some plots are lost, others unresolved. It's a good story that needs a better proof reader or editor and needs to finalize one story before moving to the next, it reads like a daytime soap opera.

Ice Between Rivals

Ice Between Rivals

I suddenly opened my eyes, drenched in sweat. My heart hammered against my ribs like it wanted to escape. The tent was quiet, sunlight softly filtering through the fabric. “Oh my God… it was just a dream,” I sighed, relief crashing over me. But the images lingered Liam’s intense eyes, his hands on me, the way my body had betrayed me so completely. Who on earth has dreams like that about their friend? About their complicated, once-best-friend-turned-enemy? I felt deeply embarrassed, almost horrified. It was like a twisted horror movie playing in my subconscious.

The Alpha in My Dream

The Alpha in My Dream

The dream world was breaking apart. "No, wait!" Kieran growled, reaching out as her form began to blur. But it was too late. Before his very eyes, she disappeared from his sight, dissolving into nothingness. "No!" Kieran forced himself awake, his eyes snapping open as he bolted upright in his massive bed. He was panting heavily, sweat dripping down his forehead, and his heart was hammering wildly against his ribs. He gripped the silk bedsheets, his claws accidentally ripping through the fabric as he tried to catch his breath.

The Reaver Chronicles: Raphael (Book 2)

The Reaver Chronicles: Raphael (Book 2)

The vivid images of Haven, Necromancers, and Cryomancers swirled through my mind like a maelstrom, each scene bleeding into the next in a chaotic dance of color and sound. I was a passive observer, trapped in the labyrinthine corridors of my own subconscious, as my dreams attempted to process the tangled web of emotions and loyalties that had ensnared me. And yet, despite the turmoil, I had deliberately chosen not to dreamwalk, to instead allow my mind to wrestle with the demons that haunted me.

Dark Lord's Cinderella

Dark Lord's Cinderella

After she had washed up herself in the bathroom, Daeira retired to bed with a happy face, and when she closed her eyes, a subtle release of smoke filled the room, sending her into a nightmare that would haunt her. Reclaiming My Beloved Dragon Prince

Reclaiming My Beloved Dragon Prince

Carnelia is inside of Primus' dream. "It is a technology often used in Elfholm for the most severely injured or ill. It is called 'Dream Walking' and usually only the most talented of their Scientist-Priests attempt this after years of training," The Technician almost seems to be apologizing for its folly while telling me how much risk he put both Primus in Carnelia by throwing them into this state. "I developed this alternative as a way to communicate to those who are too ill to speak, but rarely do they come out with their minds intact." "And you hooked my brother up to this device!" I growl. "Even though you knew he might not come out sane."
