CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY ONE ZOEY I had a dream but the dream didn’t start like a dream. It started with cold wind brushing against my skin and the soft crunch of leaves beneath my feet as I walked forward. I looked down and I was barefoot, standing in a dark forest, dressed in nothing but a thin white gown. The moonlight shone beautifully, casting shadows across the ground. I turned in a slow circle. “Frankie?” I whispered, not even sure why her name came out first. She hadn’t spoken to me in days. I’d screamed her name and begged her to answer, but now, the forest was quiet, until it wasn’t.

[Slone] He is calling me. *thump* I just need to walk to the edge of the road, to the start of the forest beyond. Just a step, and a turn. *thump thump* The stones are crunching underneath my bare feet. I am not wearing shoes. Why am I not wearing shoes? My feet and ankles are wet with dew as I walk across Evander’s garden. The flowers are so beautiful. The glow in the moonlight.

Jazzy looked pretty tired because of her pregnancy, so we went back to the Crescent Moon pack house, and decided on resting until dinner to meet with our men. I went in to my own room, and decided on taking a quick shower before resting on the bed. I got dressed, and patted my hair dry with the towel. I combed my hair and added lotion on my body before going to bed. I soon fell asleep. Before long, I was caught in a dream that was so surreal. I'm walking through a beautiful forest. The ground feels soft, almost as if walking through the clouds. I felt so at peace walking through there. The trees looked so alive, the ferns glow and gleam with happiness and joy.

I can't remember exactly in the middle of which movie I must have drifted off to sleep, but the dream I had, was just as confusing as the ones I normally have. ~~~~~~~~ I ran through the woods barefooted, wearing a sky blue dress that flowed beautifully on me. It almost seemed the dress was specially made for me. My hair cascaded down in loose waves, and my feet were left barefoot. Maybe, I should be scared. But I sprinted carelessly through the woods, nonetheless. What exactly was I running for? Yet- I wasn't scared.

Right? I came out. And in a while I was already on the highway, passing through the wide road, I kept walking barefoot, my feets bleeding too much. While I was feeling dizzy, as if I will fall any minute. I kept walking when a alleyway, was visible and it had a little table on it. Since it was night time, everything was dark and empty with no one really visible. I sat on the broken and abandoned table.

I was so tired that i didn't even dare to get dressed.I fell on my tummy,on my bed,still had my underwear on .I wanted to get rest so bad that as soon as i closed my eyes , sleep took over me.I was as lazy as a sloth! I had one of those weird dreams ,but i how i wished it was true... I was walking barefoot in the middle of a road, alone.It was raining and i only had a white bra and panty,and also a shrug.The road was endless and it seemed that i was fiddling around.

Somehow and some way. After a while of thinking about the two situations at hand I finally succumbed to slumber but it wasn’t what I expected. I dreamed. Probably the same one that I had dreamed of the night before and it seemed like it was much worse than the last. This time is different. I was in my pajamas that I had dawned on before bed. A simple tank top and a pair of soft sleeper pants. My hair was tied up into a ponytail. I looked down and saw mud covering my bare feet. A portion of it gets into the crevices of my toes and under my toenails. I looked up from them to scan my surroundings. I was in the forest again. Alone. In danger of what may be ahead of me. Silence except for the noi

No man should be able to do that with just a look. “I miss sleep and being able to lay the way I want.” Jennah came through the door rubbing her hand over her swollen belly. “But I think I miss my feet the most.” She stopped and looked from Brody to Tess and then sighed. “Sorry, bad night of baby dancing inside me.” Tess got up and offered her an understanding smile. “Don’t worry about it.”

I could hear his heavy footsteps all the way down the stairs and laughed to myself about all of the times he said that I sounded like a herd of elephants walking around upstairs. I sat there on my bed, rubbing my eyes, trying to get the sleep from them. I pushed myself to hoist my still tired legs off over the side and found my house shoes that I always left on the floor beside the bed. I looked over and spotted my tank top and sweat pants at the foot of the bed and stood up, pulled my pants on and scooted my feet into my awaiting house shoes. I grabbed my top and began walking around the end of the bed toward the bathroom. I pulled my tank top over my head and caught a glimpse of myself in

There was another wooden bar running vertically underneath the canopy, wrapped in fluffy fabric and silk. Smiling, I unlaced my boots and kicked off my socks, revealing pale feet of human origin, but with claws and toes not too dissimilar in shape to a bird's or bat's. I leapt over to the bed, hooking my feet around the bar and hanging upside down above the mattress and sheets. Crossing my arms over my chest, I was finally comfortable enough to drift into dreams.
