Dreaming Walking Barefoot Novels & Stories

My bare legs were not helping much. My legs were getting numb due to the freezing mud, I felt like my bare feet were pinned with thousands of needles. But I can't stop here if I then I would be dead so I walked further. When I crossed this cold thick forest. I saw a plain vast land. There is no one till my eyesight. I licked my dry lips and walked further. My legs were hurting like hell. When I walked a little ahead and nailed on my place cause I saw huge, I mean so huge statues of devils on both sides. I don't know if they were statues or real cause their eyes were glowing like bright yellow bulbs. I gulped and walked between the statues, my heart drumming like it gonna stop at any minute.

Right? I came out. And in a while I was already on the highway, passing through the wide road, I kept walking barefoot, my feets bleeding too much. While I was feeling dizzy, as if I will fall any minute. I kept walking when a alleyway, was visible and it had a little table on it. Since it was night time, everything was dark and empty with no one really visible. I sat on the broken and abandoned table.

Laura murmured can be heard by me. "And Dylan, I don't want to be carried." Even though I wanted to be carried by him because I was starting to feel heavy, I couldn't do it. I was so tired that i didn't even dare to get dressed.I fell on my tummy,on my bed,still had my underwear on .I wanted to get rest so bad that as soon as i closed my eyes , sleep took over me.I was as lazy as a sloth! I had one of those weird dreams ,but i how i wished it was true... I was walking barefoot in the middle of a road, alone.It was raining and i only had a white bra and panty,and also a shrug.The road was endless and it seemed that i was fiddling around.

There was another wooden bar running vertically underneath the canopy, wrapped in fluffy fabric and silk. Smiling, I unlaced my boots and kicked off my socks, revealing pale feet of human origin, but with claws and toes not too dissimilar in shape to a bird's or bat's. I leapt over to the bed, hooking my feet around the bar and hanging upside down above the mattress and sheets. Crossing my arms over my chest, I was finally comfortable enough to drift into dreams.
