Let the dreamscape do with her as it wishes. I get up from the bed and walk with bare feet towards the bathroom. On the way, I see my shoes at different angles like someone threw them at a wall gecko. Honestly, I don't even remember myself kicking off my shoes, and I really do not want to think how they came off my feet. The bathroom is another world of white when I step in and flip the light switch. I look at my face in the mirror and I almost do not recognize myself under the swollen flesh. I take off my clothes and shut the door, in case Ellie's wet dream graduates into sleepwalking.

For the first time, she was as perplexed as I was. "I have no idea. It’s like a riddle.” "Yes, thank you." I snorted. "No joking." I closed my eyes, willing someone, something, anything to give me some clarity. Over time, a deep, restful sleep took over me. And in my dreams, I was walking once again through the forests. Barefoot and free. I saw a lakeside maiden in the distance, with long, silvery-white hair, her direction hidden by a flowing dress.

She stood at the window, watching as I descended from the side of the building, careful not to move in front of open windows. Once my feet were on the ground, I stuck to the shadows and made my way north until I was surrounded by the forest. I stared down at my bare feet as I walked, frowning. I probably should have put on some shoes for this journey, but I was so used to not wearing them that I didn’t think about it. I normally loved walking around the forest barefoot because I loved the feel of the earth between my toes. It made me feel grounded and in touch with myself, despite not having an inner animal. It made me feel like I was truly a werewolf.

I ran the bath on cold and undressed and slowly got it. I put bubbles in so I could calm down. I slowly started to relax my toes and then up to my leg and then my fingers and so on and soon I found myself asleep in colder water. Dream I could tell I was somewhere relatively safe but all I could see was pitch darkness. It was so dark I couldn't see my hand in front of my face. I was on my feet I started to walk for a while and before long I stumbled and fell on the ground it was cold and slick like polished granted tiles. I got back up and soon was knocking over what sounded like furniture.

Like a movie, her mind starts to take form and create an image of her dreams. She was in a forest. Her dreams always started in a forest. She would wear a velvety red nightdress. It was soft to the touch and felt very expensive on her skin as it stands out against her milky white skin. Her wavy black locks fall freely down her body, right above her ass and she was barefooted. There was a clear pathway for her to walk in the forest and she never felt any discomfort or pain as she walks forward. Everything around her was lush and green and lively. There was no life to be seen living in the forest but she didn’t feel like she was alone.

Why do I always wake up tired? My feet make a sloshing sound with every step that i take, and when i look down at them, the sight of the fresh mud stops me for a second. I realized that I was already near the cliff, a huge full moon shining brightly in the night sky right in front of me. I looked around and I was shocked that I had come this far. I noticed that I wasn’t wearing any shoes or slippers. I had walked here barefoot and yet despite the distance, my feet didn’t hurt.

I might have slept the entire day. There was no one around, it was eerie quiet, they were all inside the house and the road that leads to the forest was somehow giving me a glowing warning. “Now we walk.” He pushed me forward towards the forest and the foreboding feeling came showering me. I grew quiet. My head concentrated on walking. I had no time to grab a shoe and I was barefooted. The rocks and twigs were poking my sole making it hard to move but the guy kept pushing me forward. I wasn’t even concerned about the gun anymore; I was more scared of coming across the dead bodies that littered the forest.
