No Home Tonight

No Home Tonight

However, Suzy slammed her utensils down. "Henry, is this really how your family treats me? I'd be better off going home for the holidays." My brother was quick to smooth things over. "Suzy, it's pitch-black outside, where could you possibly go?" Mom chimed in quickly, "Yeah, Suzy, don't pick a fight with her. She hardly ever comes home, just for New Year's. They can crash in the guest room, and you guys take the master."

Enslaved By The Ruthless Alpha

Enslaved By The Ruthless Alpha

A gentle breeze whispered through the open window, carrying with it the promise of a promising day ahead. Somehow, I still felt a connection to my new home, it had a mix of its own grandeur and the nostalgia of my home as I remembered it, or as I experienced in my dream. Even though I had grown up in my home, the house had gradually lost its touch, as Arnold had ruined the beauty of the place. As I closed my eyes, my heart filled with a renewed sense of hope. I prayed once again, this time not for deliverance from my past, but for the strength to seize the new opportunities that awaited me. I could not help but feel like I had finally found a home where my life could flourish.

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Not a place where I am counting down the days until I have to pack again. A home. Somewhere with trees close enough that I can disappear into them. Somewhere with space and silence and serenity. Somewhere I can live until my last day without feeling like a stranger. My dream is to have a home. Because I never had one. Foster houses. Spare rooms. Basements. Guest beds that never quite felt like mine. I learned how to keep my things small and my presence smaller. But one day that will change. The scent of water reaches me before I see it.

the alpha is supposed to be blind, it’s the whole premise of the book, yet the author constantly describes him as “seeing” people’s blood shot eyes, watching people walk away, looking at himself. it’s sloppy, bad writing. i don’t recommend the “sometimes not quite blind alpha”
Sirena Mares
Interesting characters. Interesting werewolf lore. I just hope the author never "cures" the blind alpha as he actually is mostly capable anyway. The FL goes through quite the character development, and that's putting it mildly. The quality of the narration and writing itself is publish-worthy.

Billionaire's Summer Secret

Billionaire's Summer Secret

D'Andre had returned to this mansion, a place that should have been filled with the sounds of a family, but he was alone, and the silence was deafening. As he lay in his spacious bedroom, the moonlight filtering through the curtains, he couldn't help but feel the weight of solitude pressing down on him. The truth was, behind the confident facade he showed to his friends, D'Andre was a man haunted by dreams—dreams of Maiari and their baby. Every time he closed his eyes, hoping to find solace in sleep, those dreams would come rushing back to him, vivid and heartbreakingly real. And every time he awoke, he awoke alone, tears staining his cheeks.

Manhater (English)

Manhater (English)

I've been here a few times and been able to enter, but only now have I realized the importance of it to the two of them, especially to Grandpa who he really put together a lot just to fulfill their dream home. As I was thinking about them, Dylan suddenly jumped on me. I immediately remembered our little home. We once dreamed of having our own house, which even if it is not big as long as we are always happy together we are also satisfied. However, it seems vague when that happens. It seems like I'm really just dreaming.

Leesa's Advent

Leesa's Advent

But she had always argued that those dreams would become reality. Well, with the family pretty much decimated, home became more like an empty shell than the loving home of the “old days” or what so long ago she’d imagined it to be as her future. For her, many dreams lay trapped within the very walls that had protected her growing up. Dreams of talking about first love and heartache with her mother, her parents walking her down the wedding aisle, them bouncing her children on their knees, and watching Serena become a success. All those dreams, trapped like the insulation in the walls. In fact, these days, Serena felt more at ease out in the open desert than under her own roof, where those dre

The Rejected Luna

She was far from fine. “Rae,” he said. “Just let it be.” “I’m trying to help you, here. I’m not your enemy. I thought you said we had to share out worries with each other.” Rae sighed. It was something she genuinely didn’t want to talk about so she would have to lie to him about what was messing with her mind. How would she tell him it was a dream and more specifically, what the dream was about? She couldn’t. “I’ll be fine, Keegan. Some days are just worse than others. I had a dream about home. It’s hard for me.”

The Werenun’s Dirty Professor

“Then we’ll hold on to every tomorrow we can.” His eyes closed, but his lips moved again. “I dreamt of it… of us. Not just battles, not just blood. But something… quiet.” “Tell me,” I urged, pressing my forehead to his. His voice was faint, yet I clung to every word. “A home… where you laugh without fear. A place where the only sound at night is your voice beside me. Children, maybe. Running in the grass. I don’t know if I deserve it, but I saw it. And I wanted it.”

“What? Why would you dream of that?” “I don’t know. I haven’t even been in that place before.” “What was the name of the building?” “I think it was something like…. Home of Little….” I trailed off as I tried to remember the vague memories I have of that dream. “Angels?” I said interrogatively although I know it wasn’t right. “No no no. I think it was more of like Home of Little Miracles. Something like that.” Harry went silent for seconds before he finally responded, “What… what happened in your dream?”
