Climbing in bed I try to sleep, but my mind is stuck, stuck between wishing I hadn't stopped Marcus, and then worried about Katy, what did they fall out over that caused her to run? An hour passes by as my mind wanders until I become too exhausted to keep my eyes open, the dreams are vivid, I feel like I am crying in my sleep, my body shaking. Why am I having dreams now? Why are they showing me Jackson and Marcus locked up and getting hurt? I don't sleep well, I try to wake up from the dreams but struggle to, so they plague me all night, waking up it is morning, and my eyes are soaked from the tears, so I was crying.

I hold onto the basin and try to ground myself but i cant. The thought of him finding me is causing me to have a panic attack. I try and focus on anything around me but nothing is working, and that’s when I notice my eyes. My eyes are glowing golden and my gums are hurting like crazy. I open my mouth and can see my gum is splitting to accommodate for the growth of my canines. I scream out in pain.

Delia’s POV It was a quiet and sad dream. When I woke up from my dream, tears came out of my eyes for some reason. The baby teeth Kral had handed me on my ankles glowed slightly. I touched it, remembering the last images of Kral's parents in my dream.

That's an understatement. The room filled with laughter, warm and easy, as they shared stories and jokes, enjoying each other's company. Kris suddenly sat up, "Wait, what's the weirdest dream anyone's had recently?" Claudine's eyes sparkled, "Oh, I had this crazy dream about cats taking over the world." Ezrianna chuckled, "That's nothing. I dreamt I was flying, but my wings were made of cotton candy." Denzel shook his head, laughing, "You two are something else." As they continued sharing their bizarre dreams, the evening wore on, filled with warmth, laughter, and the simple joy of being together.

I run toward him, screaming, but chains grow from the floor and wrap around my ankles. Then the dream changes. The walls of Blackridge melt into a forest of black trees where creatures with human teeth crawl after me on all fours. Their nails tear my skin. Their mouths rip flesh from my arms and chest while I keep running, unable to die, unable to wake. I see Lucas. I see Ryan. And I see myself drowning in blood while Ryan keeps asking one question. “Why?” The siren blares, jolting me awake. I wake with a violent gasp, my back soaked in sweat. Oliver glances at me from his bunk. “You look like hell.”

Some grow into creation, others into hunger. Someone’s feeding the wrong one.” By dawn, the first signs appeared. Miren’s garden, once filled with silver flowers, was blackened, the petals hardened into glass. The rivers near Eros’s mountain steamed red. The air tasted of iron and grief.

Only fuel locked in the engine that kept me formed. The room shuddered. A tile trembled and broke. The crack ran in a clean line from the door to the far wall. Memory dust drifted up like powder. It smelled like old chalk and old sweat. The storage room did not feel like a room anymore. It felt like a picture peeling off a wet wall. “Not now,” I said. Sure that's the reason, I crawl into bed, sinking into the cool comfort of my comforter. That night my dreams are plagued with the sounds of wolves howling out the moon, images of animals being torn to shreds by my own…claws. The stench of blood is seemingly the most vivid part of my dreams. A voice, cold and full of authority, echoes through my mind. “Hurry up,” the voice orders, practically growling, “finish what needs to be done.” “Release me.” Waking with a start, my head is pounding, my skin burning and itching worse than before.
