Marriage First, Mate Second
Annoyed, I grab her by the wrist, spinning her on the spot.
Dora looks at me with venom injected eyes, but before I can protest, I declare.
"We met at the Moon Ball. As soon as I saw her, I knew she was my mate. I made her a ring out of grass and wildflowers, and we got engaged right then and there. We were planning to get married, until you erased our memories."
My statement makes Dora's eyes widen like saucers.
"You remember!" she snaps in annoyance.
"Did you think your tricks would work for long?" I ask, amused by her helplessness.
