Novel & Cerita Dumb Phone Finder

It’s not till he’s gone that the emptiness settles in and I start to miss him already. I head back into the kitchen to grab my phone to find that Dami swapped our phones accidentally. I start to call him but I realized I don’t know his Security Pin. It was only six digits and after guessing for the third time I gave up. Just then his phone rings and I see it’s an unknown number. I hesitate but eventually answered it.

Just then his phone rang, he looked at his Iphone's screen and saw the caller ID, it was Danny, someone he employed to find out about Charity Wakins, he picked it up and answered brusquely "What" "Sir, I have found out about Charity Wakins grand daughter! Her name is...Mark couldn't hear the latter part, it was not perceptible enough due to the network coverage fluctuating. "What's her name?" Mark shouted closer to the phone's microphone. Danny could hear him clearly but whatever he said, Mark couldn't hear. Obviously because the network coverage was not particularly good under Mark's roof at that instant. The military zone was undergoing a network upgrading so, network was temporarily unava

I look through the apps and I find one. Find My Phone. Huh? What’s this? Stace must have put it on my phone unless it came with it. I click through and it seems to be some kind of tracking device. Hang on, I wonder if he put it on his phone, too? I quickly type in Stace’s number and watch the screen. Low and behold, like magic, a little red dot lights up the screen. Yes! He’s not far away, just four blocks from here. The doors of the elevator open and I bounce out with renewed optimism. I know where he is.

He plugged the charger into the car’s USB port and connected the burner and we both looked at it sitting on the console between us. It took four minutes to accumulate enough charge to turn on. The screen lit up. Basic interface. Old operating system. The kind of phone bought specifically to be untraceable, no apps, no accounts, nothing that connected it to anything. I picked it up. Three numbers saved and no names attached to any of them, just strings of digits. And one sent message. I opened it. It had been sent to the contact listed only as D. The message was short and the timestamp was a few days ago.

I asked, feigning innocence. He sighed on the other line. “Yeah. I lost my phone. Have you seen it?” More like I have it. “N-No. Why would I take it?” Hunter chortled. “I didn’t say you took it. I asked if you saw it?” I facepalmed. “I-I know,” I forced a laugh. “Have you tried searching in your pants? In the car?” He clicked his tongue. “I forgot to turn on the location of it. Now it is impossible for me to find it.”

She was starting to feel foolish for even considering this when she noticed a slight bulge under the mattress. Penelope carefully lifted the edge of the mattress and found a small, black device. It was a phone, but not just any phone. It looked like one of those cheap, disposable models that people used when they didn't want to be tracked. Her heart raced as she picked it up, her lips breaking into a small smile. That kind of smile you sport on when you've achieved something. So she did have a phone like this?

Somehow, having him acknowledge me was enough to make me happy. "Also, I think that you should check the phone you found with Elder Flinn. You should also check the call records and try to trace it back. There is this technology in the human world where you can trace the calls a mobile phone receives. It will lead you to whoever made the call and where," I said. All of them were clearly surprised. They looked like they hadn't heard of this technology before. "That is so smart, Anya! You are so smart!" Kern said as he smiled at me.

“You say there is more?” I nodded. I could withdraw more cash for them along the way if they proved helpful. “You have a phone or way to contact him, or you, for that matter, so I can reach you?” He rummaged around on the floor, digging slightly, pulling out a very old-model cell phone. “We charge when we go to town. Right now is dead.”

"Give me your phone." "Why." "Just give it." "Chloe, why do you need my—" "Eva. Phone." I handed it over because arguing with Chloe when she had that face was genuinely pointless. She tapped around for thirty seconds, downloaded something, handed it back. I looked at the screen. "What is this." "It's an app." She said it like that explained everything. "I can see it's an app. Why does it say Find Tonight's Match?" "Because that's what it does." She shrugged, completely casual. "It's for hookups. Anonymous. You set a radius and it shows you who's nearby and interested and—"

"Oh really? You didn't seem to mind our last...tight space encounter,as I recall. You wanted me as close as possible and even very deep inside you." His self-satisfied smirk sent my cheeks flaming and I suddenly found the wall fascinating. Wheeling for a subject change, I asked sharply, "Anyway, where's your stupid phone? Can you get a signal and call someone?" He extracted his black iPhone casually from the pocket of his slacks, tapping the screen idly. "Nope, not a single bar. We must be too buried in the shaft." "Great." I threw my hands up in futile frustration. "So now what genius? We're stuck in this tin can with no way to contact help."
