Take The Damn Dog
Terrified, Emily shut her eyes tight, but just then, a voice interrupted, "Enough, Silas. If you mess up her face, how am I supposed to use it later?"
Emily froze. Her face drained of all color as she whipped her head around, panicked. "Who… who’s talking?! Who just said your name, Silas?! Did you hear that?!"
She stumbled forward and grabbed onto him, frantic.
In annoyance, Silas shoved her aside and walked over to the far corner of the room.
There, curled on the silk carpet, was the pure white toy poodle. He picked it up gently.
Its mouth was moving. Slowly, deliberately. In a mocking tone, a voice came from its lips, "You idiot. You still don’t get it? You’re here to die."
