I can't stop thinking about it- why would two rogues need a stupid cloak from me when they can basically buy or steal it anywhere? After a long pause, I part my lips to reply, but Dumber quickly jumps in and announces, "I'll get it." Oh, so they got it, and Dumb never asked me. Good thing the friend decided to speak up, or I look like a complete idiot. I sure hope stupidity isn't contagious because if it is, I'm catching on to it.

“Almost let me question my judgement for following you, but it’s you, so…” Jai frowned. “That’s almost twice. What does that even mean?” “Sometimes when you have a stupid friend who does stupid things, you wonder why would that person do stupid things. Especially since that certain friend knows it’s stupid. But since you remember that your friend is stupid, so him doing stupid things is actually no wonder. And then you realize that you almost question something that’s plainly obvious, which is also stupid—if you actually wonder about it, which makes you also stupid.”

"You are not dumb, are you?" This question made me feel humiliated, but against them, I couldn't even gather the courage to breathe loudly.

I replied, "THE ONE WHO'S KNOCKED OUT!!" He looked at me like I'm crazy, "IS THAT A RHETORICAL QUESTION? BECAUSE IF IT ISN'T, THEN YOU'RE STUPID! OF COURSE, HE'S NOT ALRIGHT!"

"Did you figure out the answer?" "Of course! It's just a riddle. Piece of cake!" "Which one did you solve?" "There's a snake in the forest, but it never bit anyone. Why?" The other person seemed puzzled. "Uh… Why?" "Because there's no one in the forest!" "Oh, you're so smart! Why don't you try the final question?" "What's the final question?" "It's a distich." "Like a two-line poem that rhymes?" "Sort of… But instead of words, it's a number."

Here is the question from that: I’m often running, yet I have no legs. You need me, but I don’t need you. He was about to answer "politician", thinking that the riddle had something to do with politics. But he just can’t think of anything that relates to politics. Just like earlier, all of his answers were related to the things he could see inside the room. So if he answers politics, then it would be nonsense since he wouldn’t get another bloody cookie that he needs to collect.

Lucas asked Shantelle. Shantelle asked back, "What?" "A mushroom!" Lucas announced. "What is orange and sounds like a parrot?" Lucas gave another riddle. Shantelle's eyes widened. After which, he gave another riddle, "During what month do people sleep the least?"

I have eleven neighbors, but they never turn. My initials are p, q, r, and sometimes s. What am I?" Everyone was silent, and Zoe started laughing. They turned to her, wondering what was funny. "I'm sorry, it's just that it's so easy that I expected y'all to chorus the answer!" Zoe said, trying to stop laughing. "Okay, smartypants, what's the answer?" Jack asked.

I watched him walk towards his friends and he sat with them. They were laughing and giggling about something. I decided to not intervene and sat on the rock near me facing the opposite side. Mindlessly I watched the trees move and the leaves rustle as the wind passed through them. I looked at the ground to find a bunch of stones were gathered at one place, so to kill the boredom I started to kick the stones away one by one. It was fun.

Lena raised an eyebrow with a smile, "Isn't a riddle meant to be a puzzle for people to solve? Looks like you're stumped!" Someone nearby said, "Can you give us a hint? Is it an animal? A plant?" Lena didn't hesitate and gave a hint. "It's a name of a medicine, a traditional medicine name."
