(Dungeon Guard 1) At the very end of the Alley ways, was the entrance of the Dungeon, and right in front of the dungeon gate was 2 guard, wearing their leather armor and pike in their right hand, the entrance we illuminated by at the light from torch hanging at the side of the door frame. One of the guard were in a relaxed mode, knowing that his duty were to guard this mundane gate. As he was talking to his fellow guard, he was stopped by the end of his sentence, with a bullet on his forehead, dead. His body fell to the ground without even the other guard knowing.

I got to the library, where the noise came from, and pressed a discreet button under one of the shelves. The shelves gave way in two, revealing the dark hallway that led to the dungeon. I was right. The dungeon was cold, dark, and smelled of blood. Water dripped from the ceiling, making a soft, hollow sound. The walls were thick stone, and the only light came from a single bulb hanging from the ceiling, swinging slightly. In the center of the room, tied to a metal chair, was the man who had stolen from Dante’s vault. His face was bruised, dried blood crusting on his lips. His hands were tied behind his back, and his ankles were strapped to the chair legs. He had been here for hours, waiting for his fate.

The passage seemed never-ending, winding its way through a labyrinth of stone walls. Finally, Heartman reached a heavy iron door, standing as a barrier between him and the main cell in the dungeon. Four warriors that came with him pushed and forced the door open, revealing a chilling sight.

I heard the garage doors close and then a car door was closed. The car alarm beeped once as he locked it. The door opened and closed behind him. He walked past the doors that were previously closed. First mistake, Charles. Always remember how you leave things. I had left the doors ajar on purpose and he hadn’t even noticed. Charles Huxman was six foot and weighed one hundred and fifty pounds. He was in good shape, combed his blonde hair sideways and liked to chew matches. He didn’t smoke and occasionally he would finish ten beers while watching the football game.

I had to get out of this dungeon. The sun was setting; after a few hours the dungeon plummeted into total darkness. All my senses were heightened and Das was on high alert. Just as sleep overcame me the door swung open with a loud crack. Stone from the walls crumbled from the force of the door. A blinding light filled the dungeon. The doorway beheld a man’s silhouette.

I lead him to the main dungeon door which I open with another palm scan. “Fancy security. Is that really necessary to have, way the hell out here in the woods?
