Dungeon World Books Novels & Stories

I dump my bag on the floor and read through the shelf while pulling books out and mumble as I go. ‘Even a book can be dangerous in the wrong hands.’ ‘Ignite.’ ‘Hell is empty and all the devils are here.’ ‘You’ll make bad choices. Sometimes you’ll choose the best of bad ones.’ ‘Tuesday is Fucked.’ ‘Everything’s a game. And now it’s your turn.’ I have a stack of about 10 books before I abruptly stop. "Next isle." I say and we walk up and down the library isles. I climb and jump to get books off of shelves and Aidan has to catch me a couple of times when I fell.

Why would Maggie’s ancestors want to conjure and evil spirit or raise the dead? Fascinated by the pull of the words on the page, she softly whispered the Bring Forth the Dead Incantation. A cold chill swept over her and her temples throbbed. She carefully placed the ribbon down the interior binding of the pages and closed the book shut. The crystal didn’t look quite so out of place as it lay against the bottom of the pages. In fact, there was so much room between the size of the cover and the size of the pages that crystal tucked right up into the gap when she set the book on end. It was a perfect fit.

she gives me a warm smile and just shakes her head before she nods and turns back to placing the books on the shelves. I quickly come across a book on bonds, but it takes me ages to find one about demons. I search through every book and shelf until, finally, at the very top, I spot a small, extremely dusty book. Although it doesn’t explicitly say “demons,” its title, “Monsters of Our World,” is the closest I can find.

Dannie picked up another joint from her room and went to the library. Among the ancient books was one of the largest collections of werewolf history in the world. If there was anything on Balric or the black book it was there. She gathered a variety of titles that looked promising and lit the joint. Taking a hit, Dannie opened the first book. Inside was mostly what she already knew.

Then, Chloe saw a ghost of a smile from Jucel's lips. Outside their circle, Mai was fuming. "How dare you kill my men!" Ignoring her, Jucel opened a book that she conjured from somewhere and flipped through the pages. "You brought a book with you?" Chloe asked as she moved closer. Jucel nodded and said, "I've read about them. There were elves and dwarves around the Eastern Woods of the Diana Province. Dwarves are much slender but stronger minds than elves. They might be smaller than us but their strategies were great. I heard they participated in the war fifty years ago."

Elle muttered to herself as she went in search of the books she wanted, she moved into the fantasy/paranormal section, she walked around for sometime before she came across a book that said "Aether world" She picked it up and scanned it, it talked about two realms that were once together. She quickly scanned the book once more, she saw names like halflings, faires, humans and a lot of weird things she saw in the other realm. The book said "fiction" in bold letters but she took it anyway. She made to sit down and read it there but she decided against that and walked to the librarian "I'll take this with me" she said as she placed the book on the desk.

“Just tell me where I am!” “Okay then” he then started look serious as he was preparing to tell something. “This is the other world. The Inhabitants of this Land call this world Beaume. Compared to your original world, it is not as advanced and modern as you might expect. It’s approximately about halfway through what your world calls the medieval age. This is the time period of war between dominant countries and war against demon creatures.” He explained. He snapped his left hand, and in an instant, brought a cup out of nowhere. He sipped a little before he continued.

Alice the tent for a while again, but soon came back, announcing what she, Elisabeth, and Meredith had sensed. Eventually, from behind the trees, countless hordes of demons emerged, then vampires, and behind them other evil beings and monsters, in total almost 500.000 of enemies. Everyone gathered on the hill looked at this army in slight horror. Even in Elisabeth's eyes a fear flashed, although throughout all the years of her life she had a lot of tough battles with only slightly smaller hordes. Damon came into the tent, where Selene sat with Isabelle, Johnathan and Alice, just to say:

“War has been fought by many powers in the other world but all in all it’s the Heaven realm against the middle and lower realm. The one who started this great war is one of my kind… the great old one… Cthulhu…” The name made Zhu Wushang remember that this name should be the name he found in the book “Necronomicon” in the Black Merchant library. He didn’t know the objective of this war but the only thing he knows is that it was not good if this name were to be involved in any war. He needs to clear all of the loose ends and complications in this world and return to his world fast. Before that Cthulhu guy made any bold move.

Jacob replied. "I'll give you vitamins and some medicines to get rid of the dizziness and weakness," said Doctor Anna. She immediately took some medicine from her shelf and gave it to Jacob. “Jacob, we did it! We can save this world!” Zoya says excitedly. "It's all thanks to Eren..." Jacob said smiling at Jacob. "No Jacob, it's all thanks to all of you..." replied Eren with a smile. -Year 2045- “Professor Alex, we have to get out of here right away! More and more monsters enter the building. We can't hold them back any longer!" said one of the soldiers standing guard in front of Professor Alex's study.
