I asked, a soft chuckle escaping me as I flipped through the pages, seeing his messy notes everywhere.
"I wanted to understand your world a little better," Maverick gestured. "Turns out, I'm not so bright.”
“I guess it's the thought that counts,” I joked. “You sure you're brain is alright after those three pages?” I teased.
“Don't,” he knew I was out to annoy him. “I got ahead of myself because I'd manage to learn the statistics you'd been teaching me, okay? The least I can do is try to learn what a data string is so I don't look completely clueless when you're talking about your day at SiporaTech."
