Dark Fate

Dark Fate

His vision dimmed, and he realized that his time was short. "Elara," he managed to whisper, struggling to get the words out. "I'm coming." With one final, shaky breath, Draven closed his eyes. He felt his life slipping away, but he held on tightly to the hope that he had saved her.

The Dying Flame of Love

The Dying Flame of Love

I just nodded, not adding anything else. We had just sparked up a fire to chase away the chill in our place when, out of nowhere, the power cut out. The room plunged into darkness, leaving only the glow of our stubborn little stove. Yvonne went off with the landlord to hunt down some candles. Wade was right on her heels, moving through the flickering shadows. I caught a glimpse of him trying to hug Yvonne, but she pushed him off in a flash. "Thomas isn't feeling great. You stay and take care of him," she said, her voice carrying just enough for me to catch it.

Playing Dead and Breaking the Don-To-Be

Playing Dead and Breaking the Don-To-Be

"Aren't you afraid your family will fall with us?" "Fall with you?" Vincenzo laughed. His voice was dripping with mockery. "I stopped caring the day Ella died. This family and its businesses mean nothing to me now." He raised his hand, and his men shoved the elders to the floor. "I want to know something. Was my Papa involved in Sofia's fake pregnancy and the plot against Ella?" The elders froze. Nobody dared answer. Vincenzo took a step forward and pulled out a gun. He pressed it to the temple of the lead elder. "Answer me!"

Office Survival: Everyone Logged Into the Death Game

Office Survival: Everyone Logged Into the Death Game

In the end, we managed to surpass Frank's points by a hair's breadth and emerged victorious. However, both Riley and I died the moment we left the game due to our heavy injuries. Perhaps the system malfunctioned when it brought us back, but we were reborn with our memories of our past lives intact. The game then began anew. Riley and I immediately recognized each other when we were added to the group chat. Thus, we swore to each other that we would make the people who betrayed us in our past lives pay for the consequences of their actions. I intentionally chose the plastic apartment in the desert and the reverse photosynthesis skill. I also modified the name of the game, tricking everyone in

The Art Of Dying

The Art Of Dying

The sky was red with toxic mist, and the ground pulsed like living flesh. "The second is The Whispering Void. A psychological world. It attacks your mind directly, bypassing physical defenses entirely. It shows you your fears, your failures, your worst possible futures, and it makes them feel absolutely real. You'll experience every trauma you've ever suppressed, every nightmare you've tried to forget, every anxiety amplified to unbearable levels. Deadies have been known to go completely, irreversibly insane within minutes of entering. You'll need to cross it in four hours while maintaining your sanity and sense of direction in absolute darkness."

Not Dying for Her Lie Again

Not Dying for Her Lie Again

My coworker, Tyra Robb, stood beside my desk with one hand on her belly, her voice low. "Stella, there are some boxes in storage. Come help me move them." Last time, I gave in and went with her. Half an hour later, she collapsed in the fire stairwell, blood all over the floor. When she woke up, she pointed at me through tears. "Stella made me move those boxes. She even pushed me." I got fired, sued, and lost everything. My dad died. My mom lost her mind. And I ended up on the roof of the office building. Only after I died did I learn she'd been stringing along eight guys at once. Given Tyra's history of multiple miscarriages, the baby never stood a chance anyway. This time, I didn't

Falling for a John

Falling for a John

Davin said, tying a bandana around his forehead. I caught Sandro's gaze. "Yeah, you're right." I nodded, appreciating the rare agreement between us on this damn trip. "Death by sex," I explained. "It's a common trope, especially in older horror movies." Lennox finished tying his other boot. "Moral lesson: sex is bad, kids. Guard your virginity." Sandro leaned back on his elbows. "But if the virgin does die, it's usually a girl, and she's always the final victim." He smiled at Maddy. "Congratulations, you'll outlive us all."

Fated to His Masked Alpha

Fated to His Masked Alpha

No ritual. Just thought. Troy whistled low. “He’s not just the bloodline’s heir. He’s rewriting the rules.” Kalen shook his head. “No. He’s breaking them.” And on the main screen, the final image froze. The sniper, mid-scream, before vanishing in a flash of light. A silhouette of a child standing over where he stood. Then static. That night, Daisy sat alone on the rooftop garden, staring at the skyline. Elian was asleep again.

Rebirth And Revenge: The Betrayed Heiress's Return

Rebirth And Revenge: The Betrayed Heiress's Return

Desert: “I don’t care if the man is great or not. This kind of woman is seriously lacking in love.” Smile: “Such a bitch!” **** The more they spoke, the more unpleasant it became. System: “Dark Death is struck by lightning.” I was embarrassed. How many people he had killed? Generally, those who were struck by lightning usually killed up to 20 people. Desert: “Dark Death You are a scum. Did you sleep with Lucifer? You stood up for her like this. You deserve to be killed by lightning.” Dark Death: “I die once while you die 20 times. It’s worth it.”

it would be more exciting if POV only concerns ML n FL. it's a mess for me when all characters got their own POV. it's kinda mixed up n after a few paragraphs, another POV from other character n it goes on n on.
monika malhotra
One good thing about this story is that the FL not only has a doting boyfriend but also a doting mother-in-law. Loved reading this very positive love story of a badass FL. one complaint would be this book needs a lot of corrections. It is a bit messy.
